McNett - Black Witch neoprene glue 28 grams

Having made a small nick in my tri wetsuit, I wondered whether it was a repair I could do myself, neatly and without too much trouble or take it in and get it repaired but pay a higher price. I watcheda couple of videos on YouTube and it did not look too challenging so I plumped for the Black Witch - if you follow the video carefuly then it is not too difficult and took a manor of minutes to repair. So far so good. I must admit, although happy, it is not quite as god as a professional repair but Black Witch does the job, end of!

As expected.

Great product, used it on my Tri suit late afternoon glued nail catches and some splits which I didn't think would hold out. Let it cure overnight. In river early next morning and suit good, repairs even splits didn't come apart. I would wear silicone or similar gloves when making repair. Some of the nail catches I couldn't keep apart while it dried before pinching together as per instructions but doesn't seem to have had any detrimental effect. Hope it lasts, will update.

Worked like an absolute dream. I'd gotten a tear about 1 cm very close to the crotch seam and this stuff sealed it perfectly. Dead easy to use too, I'm usually hopeless as repair work but even I could manage it. I held the tear closed for a good couple of minutes and then left it a while (about a week) before going in the water again although the packaging does say you can go in sooner.

Sadly this product was already semi hardened and therefore unusable. I have used it before to great success. First tube I got was perfect and quite a viscous liquid so would stick to surfaces really well. This tube had hardened to something like jelly so had no adhesion whatsoever.

I tore an ankle aperture in my wetsuit, and put a nick in the body, a few days before a Great Swim event. I ordered Black Witch from Amazon and, as always, it arrived very quickly. The repairs were done in 10 minutes. Just put a thin layer of adhesive on both surfaces, wait about 4 minutes for it to become almost dry to the touch, then gently press the surfaces together to make the bond. Two days later, at the Swim, I had not the slightest problem with the repairs - good as new. Moreover, the repairs were invisible as the adhesive is the same colour as the suit and is thus well camouflaged. Excellent product, buy some right now - before you put that nick/tear in your wetsuit.

Dieser Kleber ist absolut zu empfehlen. Leicht zu verarbeiten und dicht und das sogar in einem besonders strapazierten Bereich.
