Surprisingly great for the price
For lack of a more professional term, this product is surprisingly great for the price. I mounted this in our Cessna because my wife wanted to have her phone mounted to the yoke of the airplane. Not that I'm trying to pinch pennies, but I thought $80+ to mount your phone with a couple of ball joints, clamps, and plastic pieces was a bit ridiculous. Took me awhile to find it on Amazon, but thing is exactly what I wanted. The ball joints provide a ton of adjustment options. The actual device that holds your phone is much sturdier than I expected to receive based on the price. The hardware and clamps are OK too... They don't feel super cheap like some other pieces of hardware do. The actual mechanism that "grabs" your phone is a spring loaded arm/claw that gently grasps your phone from the top. Again, the quality of the clamp action is better than I expected. Not as smooth as butter or ball bearings... But definitely better than I expected and we'll within the range of being a nice, effective piece of gear. Well worth every penny.

I bought a second one, Immediately !
WOW ! As I write this there is Two written reviews and 5 global ratings …> The written reviews are both 5 STARS !HOW Is it Possible for this to only have 70% 5 star ??? I started my working life as an Aerospace Tooling Machinist - Helped get Apollo to the MoonLater, for a short while, I was the Production Coordinator for the 70’s version of the Duesenburg SSJ Roadster Been rigging stuff for over 50 years !I am hard pressed to figure out how this could get less than 5 stars ! Alright, Take off a Star ?> OK, if you are launching it to the moon -A) Yes, It’s Heavy ! Take off maybe more than a StarB) Are you competing in a World Class Bicycle Race = don’t carry your Cell Phone !I’m running an iPhone 12 mini in a Wallet Case > The combo is fatter than just the Phone,This Mount still has lots of adjustment left and has a good solid hold on wallet & phoneC) The single knob locking both ball’s is a bit tricky, But that is a good thing;Allows ease of rotation of the lock knob / double socket arm for perfect positioning of phone;- You’ll need to determine the best knob position that gives your best positioning. OK, If you are rotating the phone from vertical to horizontal and back, - It is difficult !You wind up playing with the entire double socket arm assembly adjustment;> I Wonder; - Is there an add on hardware option available giving 90°+ lockable spin of the phone?I expect this would need to be a special replacement ball hardware that mounts on back of phone carrier. As a standard improvement to the product this would increase the cost, So perhaps make it an option?!Given that this product is vastly stronger built than others at the current price point - I may be dreaming !Still looking why it might get 4 stars;D) Here is where I might consider replacing the Kit’s double socket arm; A Two Socket Arm with Center Rotation & double Knobs might work OK:Found such a thing on eBay for about $15 each - I’ll get & see how that works for the Horz./Vert. spin> Still at 5 StarsE) My iPhone 12 Mini with absolutely no case fits just slightly loose & the side stays are very close to buttons.- Yet No way would it fall out. Add any case at all & it snugs right up & those side buttons are clear.> Your Experience May Vary !F) ?My Utilization :1) My Motorcycle - Best I’ve found for this use, SOLID !2) My Mountain Bike - At my age if I crash So hard as to damage my phone in this mount (I’ll be dead) !3) My Car - more than I need - But the right cost anyway !4) My RV - OK, now I’m thinking about weight, but it’s sure solid !5) My Home Computer System Main terminal; Built out of Drum Rack Parts ! - It is a “Transformer” of a computer station (hence the drum rack parts); Here is where I mounted my first one of these Phone Carriers !The Computer Systems Rack is made with 1.5” OD TubeThis Motorcycle Handlebar mount hardware would not fit over the 1.5” tube …I tossed aside the nice stainless steel U Bolt that came with the Kit -Took 2-#10-24 x2.5” long bolts - It fit over the 1.5” tube with 1/4” to spare !> If your are a 4 wheeler You may want to mount to a 1.5” OD Tube ? If So, It works !Starting with Two, Likely will wind up with a total of 5 - “5 Stars in my rigging world”

This thing is ROBUST!
I got this phone holder for my new bike. I have a bigger phone, with case it's slightly over 7" tall and 3.5" wide (.5" deep by the way). I was worried that my phone wouldn't fit, but it did. And this holder is heavy! I'm pretty sure this is more for a motorcycle traveling the country than a simply bicycle. The phone is literally immobile while in the holder, and the way it's designed (with the protective phone case I already have helping) even if it should, for some crazy reason, detach from the bike the phone would survive. I'm talking at 30+ mph. This is a total unit. I would go for this over the ones with the rubber or elastic corner bands any day of the week. It mounts fairly easily, just don't expect the included "wrench" to fit the nuts that go on the U-rings. The included screwdriver was only helpful in extending the side guards, and I already had one that worked for that. However, the inclusion of the tools was a nice bonus. It's actually so sturdy I'm more worried about messing up my phone getting it in or out than I am about the phone falling off of it. 10/10

Great phone mount for motorcycle and cheap!
I have no connection with the company. I wanted to buy a good phone mount but I did not want to spend $100 or more. Also, I did not want to change my phone case. I searched amazon and found this phone mount for my motorcycle. I have it on my yamaha mt-07. I used for a week before writing this review. The mount holds the phone tight and does not move even if I am doing highway speeds. The installation was easy and i secured to my handle bar. One thing about this phone mount is that it is heavy. Maybe I will write a review in future updating my experience.

Great but could've been better!
I tried installing this on my motorcycle yesterday and found that the velcro adhesive pads provided are not good enough to protect the handlebar from scratching it badly. I must buy a suitable rubber pad to go between the mounts and the handlebar. Besides, the contour of the mounts are not suitable for regular motorcycle handlebars. These are more suited for thinner bicycle handlebars. The top spring loaded mechanism makes a cheap noise when pulled to place the phone in. And I was sent a used one because I could see the installed screws were already worn and damaged.Product is lying about good fit for motorcycle handlebars. The mount will nevertheless grab the motorcycle handlebar after you tighten it but the contour is clearly a bad fit for most motorcycles. It is because of the short velcro pads and unsuitable contour of the mounts that the handlebars are at risk of being scratched badly. I will try using another rubber pad and if I still cannot get the mounts to hold the handlebar nicely, I will dump this and reduce rating to 1 star.

Very solid excellent design
Very impressed:It's very solid, can take a beating and projects the phone from most angles. No chance the phone could fall out even over worst ground: spring mechanism holds very firm and there is rubber grip and padding on holding arms.My phone has top right mounted cameras and flashlight that are not obstructed having clear view.Double ball-joint and strong lock work very well; hold my heavy phone at any angle and raise the viewing hight to more useful. It's a little on the heavy side - but I'm glad for the extra strength and durability. Not the cheapest - but worth it.Thank you, more than fit for purpose - very good.

The best out there
Fantastic quality and over engineered. As much as I can’t believe I’m saying this it’s being sold too cheap and it’s amazing value. This can and will be used not only for navigation but actually filming. The adjustment is limitless and there’s no way the phone is coming out of this Mount. Brilliantly made and solid. If someone said it was made in Germany I’d believe it. I can only assume anything less than 5 star reviews are competitor’s.

Awful, made of cheese
The handlebar bracket broke in two whilst installing, I wasn't using that much pressure but since it was for a motorbike being taken off road, it needed to be solid. The "metal" where the bracket broke looks more like the inside of a weetabix, very low quality. I would avoid this. Spend the extra money and get a ram mount instead (I did).

Finally, a robust ram ball phone holder
Really solidly built with all the fittings you need to mount sturdily on a motorcycle, with or without an existing ram ball.Excellent product.
