Great DAC
Excellent DAC and a decent headphone amp. very happy as described and next day delivery. It really shines as a DAC, all the usual digital interconnects available, also all the digital formats are covered. Creates a insightful soundstage, plenty of fine detail with a HI RES file its excellent. Not sure if it will render full MQA files, but that's not an issue to me, DSD and FLAC play flawlessy. Headphone amp is good, drives my GRADO S80e's fine. I don't need to go past 20\25 on volume although it does go to 60. May have issues with more demanding headphones, but for 95% this should be fine. You can select between headphone stage or line out, with pre amp fixed or variable features if you want. Very happy with the LOXJIE D30. **Please note I have the first iteration of this Dac, by that I mean the actual dac chip. The original product came with the AKM4497 dac chipset. I believe these chips are now rare due to the fire at the Tokyo factory earlier in 2021 which also led to a variety of electronic chip shortages across many industries. So I can not comment the The ES chipset but I have read these are also excellent dacs. **

Upgraded LOXJIE D30 - Give it time..
I was initially attracted by the functionality and size of the D30. For some years I have used Raspberry Pis with DAC Hats to stream digital music from the internet or my own collection of CDs stored as .Flac files on WD Nas drives. These successfully play into Naim amplifiers (2nd hand purchases) in two locations and a venerable Audiolab 8000a in another. The results were surprisingly good, well perhaps not to those who've tried it. However, I wanted, in the sitting room where I watch TV and films, to improve the sound available and route it to the Naim Nac92/ Nac90 and Ruark Sabres there. The Loxjie D30 offered this flexibility; coax to a Rasp pi with Justboom digi hat running volumio for the music- internet radio, Spotify and my network stored CDs; USB to Media PC for Netflix, Apple TV and Disney Plus, Youtube etc; Optical SPdif to TV for BBC IPlayer etc and Prime Video. The Loxjie arrived and I found it to be just as advertised. Impressively styled and finished and with a short booklet which made setup a breeze. (well, apart from the need to seriously address the spaghetti tangle of existing wires at the rear of the TV console and run a 2.5 metre optical cable from the rear of my wall mounted 43" TV down through the wall and out to the Loxjie. 5 minute job took several hours.) The sole concern I had about the Loxjie was the fact that it had a Sabre Ess DAC chip. In some circles these have gained a reputation for harsh, overbright and flat though detailed and accurate presentation of instruments, voices and sound stage. Some reviews for the Loxjie (not many available since it is relatively new) made similar claims but there were more (I think it came down to 3 against 2) claimed the other internal elements, op amp etc. were implimented in such a way as to negate these efects and render the Loxjie more tuneful, warmer and musical. On first use, I was very dissapointed. Jennifer Warnes on Famous Blue Raincoat seemed to screech and scream and rythmns seemed off. Paradise Radio Mellow mix had lost its usual warm comforting smothness and sounded jarring and almost argumentative. By day two I was almost ready to surrender and return the Loxjie. Thankfully, although I wasn't absolutely sure, most of the harsh almost brittle edge to voices and cymbals seemed to have rounded off. By day three, listening to Marianne Faithful sing The Ballad of Lucy Jordan, I had decided the Loxjie was staying. Sound continued to improve over the ensuing days and Promoted the Loxjie to my main Hifi system in the living room. Here it only streams via another Pi and Justboom Digi Hat to a Naim Nac 102 (with Snapsc and Flatcap 2), NAP150x and Focal Aria speakers. I am extremely happy with this setup. Unfortunately PC and TV are too far away to connect but I've lost days just listening to the music, so, I' happy. I know some say electronics, especially DACs do not and cannot improve with use over time. Burn in is a fantasy they say. In my case the difference, although perhaps subjective, is sufficiently clear to ensure that I will enjoy this Loxjie for some considerable time to come. (Sorry for the ramble but as a pensioner, my doctor insists I need the exercise.)

Great Value DAC But!
The features and sound quality of this DAC is outstanding for the price. Have it connected via my iMac to a IOTAVX amp and sounds good to my ears. Was thinking of getting another make for around double the cost, but to be honest I do not think I would get double the quality so glad I got the LOXJIE D30. One of the features I like is the ability to keep my headphones permanently connected and switch between them and RCA out via the remote. But that power lead, It is ridiculously short so much so why bother including it in the first place ( Hence 1 star deducted ), Luckily did have a spare one so used that. I realise to put a longer power lead in such a small box would not be possible and you cannot sell without a lead but at least let the buyer beware and opt to order a lead more suitable to them at the same time, Or supply your product in a bigger box to accommodate a more suitable and longer lead.

A good dac headphone amp combo
Until now i was using the Fiio K3 dac for running my headphones most of the time , but i wanted something with a bit of power. I've seen some reviews on previous products from Loxjie and i decided to give it a try to this one since it was new and no reviews online. I realy do like the screen on it , and that you got color options, remote and a normal power lead , no more of those power bricks on the floor. I must note that i use this dac mainly as headphone amplifier and as headphones i got the Audio Technica R70X a 470ohm and the headphone amp drives them with no problem . Max volume is 60 but i never gotten past 30. The dac has some filters that you can select to change the sound , but the differences are so small you might not notice them. If you got the dac via usb cable i must say you can't go lower than 32bit , you can go from 48khz up to 384khz and that's it .

Can't really say as the unit I received intermittently dropped signal and was returned.
Unit seems to tick all the boxes. Shame my unit was faulty.

Excelente

After buying a cheaper DAC before, I noticed that the development has progressed. A DAC for 100 euros today sounds better than a 10 year old for 1000 euros. Therefore, I wanted to see if it was worth the money to go up a bit in price and ordered this. Loxije D30 is an excellent product. For 250 euros you will hardly find a better one. The sound is very open, detailed and large.

Works right out of the box. Easy to connect, easy to control, sounds fantastic. Strongly recommended.

I'm using this hooked up to my desktop computer, and I've been happy with it. The Good: Very small, works well, has the features I want (headphone jack, sub out, optical + usb + analog in) The Bad: There's a single knob that it uses to control everything - volume, equalizer, input, output, etc. Thus it takes a few extra steps to, say, change from speakers to headphones or vice-versa, which is why I knocked a star off the "Volume Control" score. Other Notes: 1: I haven't actually tried to compare sound quality between this and some of my other amps. 2: I was getting a very soft clicking buzz in my headphones. The volume knob didn't affect it, and it wasn't always there. After some experimenting, my best guess is that it was some sort of interference coming through the power line that wasn't being filtered out by the power supply. Plugging the unit into a filtered power strip (a Rocketfish 8, if you must know) seems to have resolved the issue.
