It depends on what they are made of, and whether it has a porous finish or smooth finish. Generally, if it has some roughness to the finish, you will be fine.

can you spray the paint on metal using the bottle or you will need to pour the paint from the bottle into an air brush or spraying device?

It is too thick to spray without reducing it first.I would put it in an airbrush and reduce it.If you reduce it in the bottle you will ruin it for future use
