Matisse Oslo Round Bed with Headboard Lights Queen Size (White)

Another review stated the bolts didn't line up with the brackets. Well, the wrong top brackets were used on each corner for that installation. They used the brackets that are meant for the center on each side for the mattress support frame. I have included pictures of the instructions.I did have to put some cardboard (used from the product boxes and folded three times) under the headboard, at each end and center. This allowed the height of the bolts for those three headboard/side corner brackets to be level/line up. This was because I had an area rug under the rest of the bed up to about 2 feet from the headboard. No fault of the manufacturer.The brackets for the mattress support frame that go in the center of each side are reversible in case you need up/down or side to side adjustment. I oriented the brackets to use the side to side adjustments on all sides except the headboard where I had it to adjust the height of the bracket (again because of the area rug).I was concerned that the two center legs (that you bolt on to the mattress support frame) were closer to the front/rear ends. I added a stack of 3 books (just over 3 1/2 inches) to the very center for more support (see the pictures I attached). The manufacturer probably felt it was best to support the headboard and front cushion piece and the metal support would just span between those legs. Not that big of a deal to add my own support. However, how much would it have added to the cost to add a third leg? I would have loved 3 legs!Each table's support screws to the table with 5 3/4" flathead screws. I do wish these screws were a larger diameter or the same screws used at each corner of the bed itself. Don't be expecting to sit on these tables. I do love that you can rotate them and position them even over the mattress.I purchased a Classic Brands Cool Gel Ventilated Memory Foam 12-Inch Mattress | CertiPUR-US Certified | Bed-in-a-Box here from Amazon to go with my new bed.Don't forget the mattress protector. I went with the PlushDeluxe Premium Zippered Mattress Encasement purchased here on Amazon, Waterproof, Bed Bug & Dust Mite Proof 6-Sided Protector Cover, Hypoallergenic Cotton Terry Surface (Fits 12-15 Inches) Queen Size. It's a little loose but very easy to put on the mattress.The bed along with the new memory foam mattress is very comfortable and feels sturdy. Will the bed hold up? If it doesn't, I'll update this review.I love this bed and it looks so sexy!I'm not an Engineer, but will look at the installation instructions. :)

Uncomfortable

The (White) Oslo Round Bed with Headboard Lights Queen has some engineering issues. Matisse needs to work with their manufacturer to fix these issue.1. The Headboard light doesn't work. I have tested the light switch from different wall outlets and the light doesn't work. This is the main reason I purchased the bed. I will reach out to Matisse Company in Jacksonville, Florida for a replacement. I need steps on how to replace this bulb and determine if this is a bulb or electric issue.2. The bolts didn't line up with the pre-drilled holes. On all 4 corners, we had to skip a bolt because the pre-drilled holes were not square and level with the metal brackets. This needs to be fixed on these beds.Overall, I was excited and purchased this product for $1250.00. I am not pleased with what we have received. I hope that Matisse will provide a response to my issues and provide financial remediation. I will post pictures for everyone.-Hank Howey [email protected]@gmail.com
