DekaPower Sports ETX16L Battery

This battery for the price is the best I have ever had in my motorcycle. My older HARLEY DAVIDSON EVO needs a lot of power to crank over. I have bought a battery about every other riding season. This battery has great posts mounts with solid bolts for the cables also excellent cranking power. for the price its a great deal.

These batteries last. I used to buy new batteries every few years. these last 5 ,6, maybe 7 or 8 years. cant remember it has been so long. I do take them out in the winter and put them on a battery tender

I figured I'd pay more for the AGM and it should last for at least a few years, right? I read great reviews and how they hold a charge better than standard batteries. Apparently not. I bought this for a jet ski and it worked great the ONE time I got to use it. Cranked up quick, held a charge, no issues. Ended up deploying overseas for 9 months, so I took the battery out and stored it inside unhooked. It was 13 volts when I left, and by the time I got back and hooked it up to take the ski out, it was under 1 volt.I was a month outside of their 1 year warranty, and of course they wouldn't honor it. I bought an AGM rated charger in the attempt to recover the battery, but it was just too far gone. I'd love to see how a non-defective unit performs, as it seems like I got a dud, but buying a second one of these would be the same price as buying my 4th standard battery.
