KENWOOD KFC-D101 D-Series 2-Way Speaker System (4 Inches, 220 Watts Max Power)

I just wanted something that i could listen to the radio and not have to break the bank

I have a 2000 Nissan Frontier crew cab. I’ve noticed my speakers were not that loud. And when turned up they were really distorted and fuzzy. I took all the door panels off to find that half of them were not even working. Turns out they weren’t even factory just some old Pyle speakers that were mounted pretty poorly by the previous owner. These new speakers wired directly to my old wires with no splicing or soldering whatsoever. The thing that took the longest was drilling holes for them to mount in to make sure they were secure. Other than that the process was insanely easy.The sound is crystal clear compared to the old ones, the bass is at least twice as good and when turned up all the way they show no signs of buzzing or distortion. Super pleased with these speakers a must buy for the price. I ordered the 6.5 for the front and I’ll install them this weekend. Ready to hear what the whole matching system will sound like with some rock and country blaring through them!

I installed these in a Stern SAM series Pinball Machine. They are not nearly as sensitive (Db/Watt) as the speakers that came out. I am overall happy with the purchase still, and these are a major improvement over the factory speakers.
