2 Smart Table Mate TV Foldable Adjustable Trays (except PO BOX and military address)

To say I am quite disappointed in this product would be an understatement. We have 2 of the original Table Mates and I wanted to order 2 more for when we have guests but I don't think these tables are fit to use. I ordered these because they had the highest overall review rating with the most reviews. This product (2 Smart Table Mate TV Foldable Adjustable Trays) is not as stable as the original Table Mate. This table looks the same as the original except for 2 things. The surface is textured (you can't use it to write on) and the metal support brace that holds the surface on the legs is 50% thinner than the original Table Mate making it half as sturdy. This "Table Mate" can only be used temporarily, perhaps to eat a meal on. I am skeptical as to whether I would put a drink on it and I would not let a child use it. This "Smart Table Mate" cannot hold very much weight and I do not recommend purchasing it.The packaging was ok, the box had a couple holes in it. I only put together one table and it was not damaged. This table took longer to arrive, 5 days with Prime shipping. To make matters worse, there was no receipt in the box. I regret making this purchase and I only gave it a rating of 1 because I couldn't rate it a 0.Update - It cost me 26 bucks to send these back to SOJITEC AND SOJITEC ONLY REFUNDED $35.74 - NOT WHAT I PAID WHICH WAS $43.99. I WILL NEVER ORDER from SOJITEC again. This seller is HORRIBLE!

I wanted a table that I could put my new  HP Pavilion dv7-7010us 17.3-Inch Laptop (Black)  on and watch television (multitasking, you know). This table works out fine. It is plastic so it's a little flimsy especially when I really get pounding away on the laptop. But I feel comfortable that it's not going to collapse with my computer. The laptop fits on it just fine. I do have the touchpad turned off and am using a wireless mouse. The mouse does NOT fit on the table (it will fit to store it there but not to use it). So I use the mouse on the couch. Works fine for me.The price on these tables was great, too. I got two tables. My husband uses one for eating, hobbies, etc. in front of the television and it was only ten more dollars for two than for one table. Free shipping too. Quite a deal.The table adjusts up and down. I am very tall and rather large but the table works fine for me - the legs slide under the couch and the table comes back over my lap. And I don't even have it as tall as it will go. I am using this for my laptop but the top does have two other positions, angling downward, for holding your book, crafts, or whatever. It was very easy to assemble and well worth the price.

Had a very hard time getting the seller to understand how to ship these, but thanks to Customer Service From Amazon, I was able to get the very table I wanted, they nake it easy to enjoy a snack at your chair without haveing to set all the way forward as required by regular tv trays, already had the TV brand and these are larger and better built, just a better product, and the price for two delivered was a good value, would order again from this seller even if I have to get help from AmazonCustomer Service!! Amazon is a more customer friendly company than ANY other online store!!!JLF

I like the tables, BUT there is no way to lock the table into any position. If you pick it up to move it, it collapses. These tables were for my mother-in-law who is elderly. There was no way I could teach her to pick the table straight up by the legs. I used some metal putty and locked the legs into the position shown in the sellers photos. That solved the problem, howeever, it is now locked forever in that position. Seller Beware!! This table is just waiting for someone with hot coffee on it to pick it up by the table top and you are going to be in deep legal trouble. It should be fairly easy for you to get the manufacturer to fix this problem, or find another wholesaler.I would have preferred to send this to you directly. Can't see anyplace to do this on Amazon. Again, the concept is great, but the stability of the table top when moving, or even hitting it with your legs causes me to down grade this.

I cannot even begin to describe how horrible these tables are. First of all, I did not contact the seller because I did not want the hassle of returning these, because believe me, once you get them out of the box, they aren't going back in. As my husband pulled them from the box, two pieces of broken off plastic fell out. He went ahead and tried to set them up anyway. Big mistake. You could immediately feel and see how cheaply made they were. I did not want to set my laptop on it so we just sat on book on it. The table top fell over.DO NOT waste your money

This is WAY better than a regular tv tray. With a regular tv tray, you have to lean forward to eat and it's always too high up. With this tray, it slides completely in, right up to your lap and you can adjust the height too so it's not too high or too low. The tilt option is awesome for doing crossword puzzles, etc. It's made of LIGHT plastic so it is a little flimsy....but so are a lot of the typical wooden tv trays.....And you have to be careful when pushing the tray out away from you, to make sure you don't push it out by pushing on the actual tray part of the stand....b/c you can easily pull the tray up off it's hinge and then everything will dump on the floor. Make sure you always push the tray out using the legs! It's a very handy product!!

Got two of these trays and am disappointed in the quality. They are rather heavy to be so flimsy. Poor construction results in frustration when trying to set up the table. I cut off extraneous plastic from the base so that the swing bar can be hooked easily. Also added a 1/4-20 threaded rod between the table legs to make them less flimsy. As delivered I was disappointed with these trays (quality vs. cost = poor). With the modification I've made I am satisfied Cannot recommend Smart Table Mate TV Trays.
