Top Soup Maker
I know there are other soup makers out there, but I truly love this, so much better than buying tinned soup. It’s so easy to use, tastes great…

Makes great soup .. But...
If you just like chunky soup, this is great. If you just like super smooth soup, this is great. If you want to make soup that's to your own preferred level of smooth/chunky then this is not great. It truly works great in either mode, so if you love chunky or very smooth soup it's all aces, but where it falls down is if you like soup somewhere between chunky and smooth, because if you try to blend the soup during/after cooking in chunky mode then it just constantly errors and you have to reset it, try again, beeeeeep, reset, try again, beeeeep, reset, try again.. and again.. it took me around 15 attempts to blend the chunky down and I gave up in the end.At the price they charge for this, this shouldn't be an issue! but it is.Now on the plus side, food does not stick to the bottom like it does in metal ones I've had, so that's one major annoyance removed, also I used turmeric in the first soup and it looked to have stained the plastic, however, it did clean off a bit with water and soap, then after a couple more soups (without turmeric) it was gone. The lack of easy blending during/after use is a major drawback, that's the main reason I bought as see through one as with the metal ones you've no clue how smooth it's going whilst blending without stopping and checking, so I figured I'd solved that problem with a transparent soup maker, but alas no.

Love this!! Simple to use, great product, great price
Very impressed with this little machine! I was a bit dubious about how well it would blend and whether it would scorch soup or not cook things properly but it’s excellent! Simple to use, quick to make soup and easy to clean (although it’d be lovely if it could go through the dishwasher - sadly it can’t). Winter is coming - buy the soup maker already!!

Very quick.
I had read reviews saying that it burnt the soup so I expected this to happen. I did not believe that soup could be made and blended in twenty-one minutes but to my surprise it did both perfectly. You don't need to watch over it or mix the soup. It exceeded my expectations and did not burn the soup. I have only used it once so time will tell.

Love it!
I got my soup maker yesterday so I decided that I would start with something simple today. Mushrooms, chopped onion, garlic, diced potato with chicken stock. Left the machine to do it's thing then stirred in a little drop of cream. I sprinkled some blue cheese on top and served with fresh crusty bread. So easy to use and clean after use.

Disappointed
Received on the Sunday, returned on the following Friday. After reading both the 1* and 5* decided to buy this Tower soup maker, 1* reviews were saying about a lot of steam being produced during use and burning the bottom of pan, plus it cutting out. Did everything by the book, put a little Olive oil with a drop of water in the bottom of pan before adding ingredients. Worked perfectly no burning and there was no steam and no cutting out. Everything going fine, I was so pleased with this soup maker. Until Friday, when I made another batch of soup did exactly what I had previously done. I could not believe it when I went in my kitchen it was steamed up, the soup maker had stopped working and I ended up with an unfinished soup and the pan burnt at the bottom. Needless to say has been returned. Think I will be sticking to my old way of making soup. Having looked at other makes of soup makers and the reviews seems to have same problems after a time.
