These are amazing wish id of bought them a long time ago only problem is watch out when cleaning them they are very sharp

Just like steak knives these to have just developed rust on them. These are not good products and cost a fortune not Happy

This Wellstar 5 piece knife set is sharp with the hollow handles and blades all well made from premium German steel. But their iridescent rainbow titanium coating is the big attraction here and makes them look quite stunning as well as seeming very different.But if you're thinking of buying them as a treat for yourself or for a keen home cook, are they just a gimmick? Well, the answer to that is no. They perform equally as well as any other set of kitchen knives in this price point - which of course is beyond basic quality. If you like the way these knives look, rest assured they are decent quality. This type of rainbow titanium finish is used on knives not intended for kitchen use and the finish does appear to be durable and to hold up well over time. Although these knives can go in the dishwasher, I'd say try to carefully wipe them down. Steel knives can rust - usually not because of putting them in a dishwasher but because they may be left hanging around wet inside one before it's emptied.If you're gifting, this set comes in an attractive sturdy black cardboard box with magnetic closure. Each knife is securely set within a hard foam cut-out with a black flock coating and inserts enable safe and easy removal from the packaging. There are small white plastic covers to the points of all the blades.The 5 knives in the set are a basic range to enable cooks to handle most tasks. Along with an 8" Bread Knife, there's also an 8" Chef's Knife and 8" Slicing Knife along with 2 smaller knives - a 5" Utility Knife and 3.5" Paring Knife. These are all the knives that get most day-to-day use in the home kitchen. I find a knife I seem to use a lot is a medium sized Santoku - not in this set but cooks who aren't in the first flush of youth will already have collections of knives and if you're buying for a novice, all the basic knives you'd want are here. Being very sharp, you will need to store them carefully, ideally in a knife block.If the novel rainbow finish appeals, this is a useful set that's good quality. Whether the rainbow finish will appeal quite so much over time is debatable as fashions change but the knives themselves are likely to hold up well.

At the current advertised price (£73.99) this kitchen knife set it's not something I would normally buy or afford but I believe that they are worth it.Apart from the fact that they look really nice and colourful, they are also really well made. They are made off one piece so there is no risk that the handle will fall off in time.All knives arrived well sharpened so they are ready to use. I find them really easy to clean after using them and so far they kept their nice and shiny rainbow look.They feel heavier than most of our knives but as I said these look really well made, even the handle does not seem  to be "empty" inside considering its weight but at the same time they are well balanced and comfortable to use.I really like that they are made of one piece.They look durable. We are very pleased with them. I am just curious for how long they will keep their cool appearance.

The knives come in a sleek box which is nicely padded to ensure they are kept in prime condition. The rainbow effect across both the handle and blade is certainly eye catching and something which I haven’t seen before. After using the knives on a number of different products the chef knife I feel could be a lot heavier to ensure that its cuts a lot smoother if it had more weight behind it. I do like the fact they come in a box but this isn’t always practical in most homes and I would usually keep my knives in a block. Perhaps if this product came with a knife block this would be more practical to store within the kitchen. The blades were nice and sharp and the set is a good starter knife set for a beginner home cook.

After having some really old knives i decided to get this Chef Knife Sets Kitchen Knives Set and i am glad i did.Firstly the knives come well packaged in a hard card case and the inside is holding the knives in place (and looking well presented) with proper black sponge material so the knives don't move.The knives look gorgeous with a lovely sort of purple look. I say that as they have various colours that make them look fantastic,They hold really well i my hand when cutting and the blades are made from titanium coated German steel so they made light work of the food i was cutting.Overall these look fantastic and work a treat - recommended
