The best tea ever
Flavor is so personal - but this tea is so wonderful with its hints of cocoa and rose. When I introduce it to my friends and non-tea drinking friends - they are so surprised at how yummy it is. It's is a great tea to start the day off with. Also, cute art of Portland on the package

This tea is awesome. Results may vary depending on your body
This tea is awesome. Results may vary depending on your body. The taste is not like regular tea bags that I am used to. The taste is slightly bitter on a scale from 1-10 it is a 6 in bitterness. I have seen big results as I drinka cup in the morning and night and my stomach is flatter than it has been in maybe a year or so and I can now move my bowels 3 times a day.I wish more came in it. I make sure I do not use a lot.

A new flavor for me
This was a new flavor for me from Stash. It’s a nice tea with good flavor—not too floral and not too chocolate—actually very mild on those accounts. I’m glad I got it loose because I don’t know how well you could taste the floral or chocolate notes if it was in a bag.Don’t be turned off because it’s a loose tea—I feel that because it’s loose you can actually get more bang for your buck. The loose leaves have more room to unfurl and release their awesome flavor so I prefer loose tea to bagged tea. My local grocery store stopped carrying this brand 😠 so when I saw it on Amazon in loose form I wanted to try it. I may order again

Satisfied Customer - Great Product
Just purchased my third bag. I choice Stash because I’ve been buying their premium green tea individual tea bags for a few years. I have tried other green teas but like Stash better than the others. It has a nice, mild taste. This Pinhead Gunpowder green loose tea did not disappoint. It has the same flavor as the individual tea bags. I also buy it because it’s organic.

This tea is excellent, and fun to brew at bat!
At first I was really confused to see that this tea can as little balls, almost the size of whole (uncrushed) black pepper. It wasn't until I poured hot water over the tea "balls" that they began to unravel into full-sized tea leaves. As they unravel, all of the flavor and nutrients unpack into the perfect cup of green tea. Great flavor. Not bitter or musty, but has a really fresh and earthy flavor. A note on brewing: Do not over brew this! Pay attention to the recommended brew time (3-5 min) to ensure best flavor and taste. I find that it's best brewed at the 4 minute mark.

Lovely green tea
This is now my favorite tea. I used to drink organic green tea from Trader Joe's, but this Pinhead Gunpowder is far superior in flavor. The directions on the package work fine. I have used an infuser ball, but changed to brewing it in a little pot and just pouring through a fine strainer into my cup so that I can see the unfurled leaves. This is, despite one review here, whole leaf tea. One cup, using 1 tsp of tea, seems to have a decent amount of caffeine. I usually drink it with a little lemon juice and raw honey, but plain it is very flavorful.

I have enjoyed drinking it but some who have tried it thought ...
A decent tea with a unique flavor. The cocoa is the main note present. I have enjoyed drinking it but some who have tried it thought it was awful. I would guess that the flavor is very divisive. I would recommend you just give it a try. I will buy it again.3 1/2 stars

Bad Flavor - Burnt
There is almost no scent to the leaves when you open the bag. I checked the expiration - still over a year out. But because of such an absence of scent, I made several cups with different amounts of leaves. The cups with fewer leaves had no flavor. Just hot water. Finally I put enough leaves in to get a flavor - and it was a very strong burnt flavor. This is not a good tea. I have other Stash organic loose leaf teas and they are fine to great, but the pinhead gunpowder is not good at all.
