After working out some kinks with the greenhouse cover (stretching and patience), this has ended up being a very nice product for some of my more finicky plants. Didn't want to invest in an Ikea cabinet, etc and for the price this has pretty much everything you will need (sans humidifier if you're into that).It has taken me a while to figure out how to maintain humidity at a level that I'm happy with, but that's trial and error with anything else as well. The lights are nice and the set up is easy and quick. Would recommend this for sure- especially once they figure out the cover problem!

Pros: Aluminum construction, went together without much trouble, comes with instructions showing how to put together the framing. Sturdy shelving + grow lights for starting seeds.Cons: LED tubes were difficult to unwrap.Make sure you find the seam on the wrapping and unwrap it with that. Otherwise it becomes difficult to unwrap because the wrapping they used will get tight around the tubes. Alternatively, use a sharp cutter to cut the wrapping off. Just be careful with the LED!

So another reviewer wrote that one can easily make the same thing out of PVC piping and clear tablecloth, with about $60 worth invested in the grow lights. He is totally right. However, I’m a tiny person dwelling in a tiny apartment in a big city and I have no handyman skills, so that’s not going to happen for some of us. Overall I am really happy with my purchase. I live in a dark hole with windows facing northwest but shaded over by the balcony above me, so there’s really very little light and no green life here. This greenhouse addressed both issues - it makes for a happy place for my little herb and bonsai garden, and it adds a lot of brightness to my apartment space. Some reviewers said it’s difficult to hold everything together at once and takes two people to assemble. I did it myself and did not find it difficult. The key is to lay the small end frame on the floor first, insert the long cross pipes in, then put the other end frame on top. Then put your weight on the joints, because it’s hard to insert the long crosspipes in all the way. When I first stood mine up, I had issues with the lights falling down because they were too short to fit into the inserts tightly. The seller told me this meant it wasn’t fully assembled. So, do put some good weight on them joints before you stand it up. The shelves also didn’t seem wide enough at first, but this also was because I didn’t have it fully assembled at first. I am a tiny woman, only 95 pounds, so that took some force for me, but I was able to do it. It’s very lightweight and easy to stand up, and if fully assembled and tight it feels sturdy. I did not have any problems with the cover ripping - I wonder if those who have in some of the reviews didn’t have theirs fully assembled also. It fits snugly but really didn’t stretch that much. Mine originally was missing the power adapter for the lights to plug into the wall, but the seller immediately sent me one so no complaint there. I do wish that the zipper for the door went in a C pattern with two zipper pulls on one zipper. That way you could access the top shelf to water plants without opening up the entire thing, letting out all humidity or letting pets in. As is, two zippers zip down from the top. To water plants on the top shelf I had to open it all the way up and my puppy knocked a pot out of the bottom shelf onto my floor. WHAT A MESS. I also wish there were a shelf on the top of the frame. Although it’s at the top and couldn’t be used for plants, it’d provide sturdiness to the top and I’d use it like a table of sorts to set my watering can and trimming shears on. And lastly, my plants have different light needs. I wish it came with an option for in-line timers. I have an outlet timer that turns the whole system on and off every 12 hours, but I’d like to be able to set each shelf within the 3 shelf system on a different schedule. The seller says they will begin making these timers again soon and I plan to buy when I can. But for now, I am happy with the design. For someone like me who can’t make her own, this was fairly easy to assemble and very practical to use.

This greenhouse is awesome. Having rescued a kitten who wants to eat every plant I have, and I have many, I needed something to protect them as well as protect the kitten since the majority of my plants are toxic or poisonous to pets. When assembled properly the outer plastic cover fits tightly and looks almost like glass. I read reviews saying the cover ripped while putting it on. The solution to that is to soften it a bit with a hairdryer while stretching it over the frame and especially when zipping it. Once it’s installed and zippered, the plastic will stiffen up when cooled. The shelves are adjustable so you can arrange the unit according to your needs. I luv the lights which attach to the under side of the shelves. Also some of my plants need more humidity and a more consistent temperature than my house has so this provides that as well. The front panel can be opened for watering or if the humidity gets too high. All things considered this is a great product and perfect for my needs!

This was a pain in the butt to put together. All the pieces fit very loosely and fall apart as soon as you try to move it. The plastic cover ripped right along the Zipper the first time I used it. Don't waste your money

Actually really enjoying this shelf. As mentioned, directions didn’t include many words but once I read through the entire directions assembly was not that difficult— but a second person really did help. The grow lights can be removed but they’re a unit of support for the shelf so I decided to keep them in but was very easy to add a few of my own grow lights. I read complaints about the cover being too snug. I have to disagree. It’s definitely form fitting to the unit which I love and I also think the tighter fit makes it look better to be in my home as opposed to outside. Also really enjoying the temperature and humidity reader as I have plants that need above average humidity.

Great greenhouse! It was fairly easy to assemble, although recommend two people as until all the bars are in it is a bit hard to get them all to stay in Place. But now that it’s assembled, it feels sturdy, I can’t wait to put plants in. Also, the company obviously cares about the product, they have handwritten notes, adorable instructions, and overall, quality products and little touches that makes this product awesome. Definitely get this!

The plastic cover is not really big enough to fit around the rack without the material stretching. We made sure all of the rod connections were fully set and the cover ripped when attempting to zip it down for the first time. Pretty disappointing. I would advise heating the front piece of the cover and stretching it some before attempting to zip it closed (Also, move both zippers in unison).On the plus, the lights are bright and disperse well. Racks have a lot of adjustment range. It could use some better footing for stability and something to hold the top half and bottom half rods together.

For Canadian winters we needed a green house to keep our outdoor plants alive. This is perfect greenhouse for our needs, arrived quickly and easy to assemble. Would recommend it for anyone looking for a small indoor greenhouse. FYI: Need to pay additional $39 Duty+Tax to FedEx .

So I got my greenhouse in . My husband puts together . All good. Few days later we notice a hole in the plastic casing covering the greenhouse. The person we bought from has shipped a new cover.Now the light is flickering all the time cause there is a short in the cord .And the temp thing is glitching out and only part of the numbers are showing and I even changed the battery. It’s one thing after another . I am so not happy with this greenhouse. Buyer beware .
