**Q: By any chance, does anybody know if this is good for spitshining?**
A: It will work, but because it has softer waxes, there are better products for that purpose. I recommend Kirby Allison’s Hangar Project videos on YouTube for learning the intricacies of shoe shining, and product tutorials on the entire range of Saphir products.

**Q: will it work on soft leather?**
A: I have only used it on shoes, but one pair is pretty soft leather and it works fine. I believe it will work on any leather.

**Q: Does anyone use this to spit shine 5.11 boots? I currently use Lincoln, but this brand was suggested to me.**
A: I didnot like it it will shine your boots but it will not fix the color so I think it’s just a wax thing

**Q: The shoes I bought is brown per manufacture, not sure if it is dark brown or medium brown? any guidance on color selection?**
A: Well. I really don’t understand the question. Inbought the neutral wax to use on all my shoes regardless the color.

This is the best shoe wax polish. No doubt Saphir is the best.After using Saphir Medialle dOr, I would like to add It is the best wax polish for the price. On any given day Medialle dOr is better but quite expensive.

I've been a member of the CAF for many years and this is by far the best boot polish I've ever used. This stuff is magic, just a few layers and you've got a mirror finish. I always thought Kiwi was the best, but Saphir blows it out of the water.It's pricier than Kiwi but worth every penny. Given how few coats it takes to get a great shine, the tin lasts much longer mitigating the cost.My boys use it for the Army Cadets parade boots too.
