Tend Skin Care Solution for Ingrown Hair & Razor Bumps, 4 oz,"Pack of 2"

I am a Black Hispanic with mildly sensitive skin. Ever since I first started shaving as a teenager, I noticed that I would get unsightly razor bumps after shaving. I used to dab rubbing alcohol as a remedy but as I got older and had to shave more frequently, the alcohol wasn't doing the trick. Especially since I needed to start using other products on my face to keep it healthy and moisturized.I started purchasing TendSkin after seeing a wealth of positive online reviews about it along with mentions in various articles regarding skin care for men. The first time I used this product, it was after showering first and then shaving, hoping that having open pores would help absorb the treatment better. I was impressed, I saw no razor bumps after the following days after shaving nor did I feel any itching, burning, or small patches of irritated skin. I continued to follow the practice of shaving after showering or at least giving my pores a chance to open up first before shaving and using TendSkin right after, that is, until one day when I was in a rush and forgot to do so completely. I had shaved quickly and was worried that the inconsistent strokes would cause irritation and lead to razor bumps. Nevertheless, I dabbed the TendSkin on my face immediately after and experienced the same results, not razor bumps, no irritation, no red spots, and no itchiness.I have been using TendSkin for about four years now and it has allowed me to focus on clearing away the dark spots and blemishes left behind by my previous razor bumps. I haven't suffered from any razor bumps since I started using it, even on my most problem areas such as my chin and jawline. It does sting after usage, but that's always going to happen when alcohol comes into contact with open skin. However, it isn't a painful sting, it's more like a "it's working" sting. Unfortunately, TendSkin is a very expensive product but I've found that I've lasted on the 4oz bottles for 6+ months so you do get a great value for what you're paying for. I have found that it is cheapest either on Amazon or at WalMart; I noticed that other stores such as Target and Walgreens charge anywhere from $16.99 - $18.99 for the 4oz. bottles.I definitely recommend this product for both men and women who have trouble with razor bumps/burns or have sensitive skin.

I've used this product for 15 YEARS!! It is the only product I've EVER used that COMPLETELY PREVENTS ingrown hairs (legs, bikini area, underarms, etc.). I have dark thick hair and was plagued with ingrown hairs until I started using TendSkin.Apply liquid generously to shaved areas IMMEDIATELY after you get out of shower, (or it won't work as well)!!! This product stings but the results are worth the pain. You want to do everything you can to eliminate the bacteria that causes ingrown hairs. It's important to use a rather clean razor, clean washcloth and Dove sensitive skin soap when you shave. Make sure to repeat applying TendSkin after the next couple of showers.If you notice later on that you feel ingrown hairs coming in, take a shower and use a clean washcloth to exfoliate the area with sensitive skin soap. It will really sting when you apply TendSkin, but it will take care of getting rid of the ingrown hairs. You'll figure out what works best for you though.This product truly changed my life in regards to dealing with ingrown hairs. BUY IT!! TRY IT!!

I love getting straight razor shaves at the barber shop and at home I have started using an old fashioned safety razor. Razor bumps have always been a problem for me. My barber recommended that I start using Tend Skin. I have used other products in the past (Skin Tight, Bump Off) and they have not worked or only worked for a short while. Tend Skin has been nothing short of a miracle. There was a reduction in bumps after the first application. I wish I would have taken before and after pics. It is really that effective.If you are black man and you do not think you skin can take a razor I HIGHLY recommend that you try Tend Skin.

I have sensitive skin and shaving always gives me terrible razor burn and then ingrown hairs. This product completely takes care of it! I use it day and night on a cotton ball and it has completely eliminated the issue. If I have a swollen painful ingrown hair it is so much better the next morning after using TendSkin. My boyfriend now uses it on his beard too and has found it has been really helpful. If you're prone to ingrown hairs this is a total game changer.

Really works eliminating ingrown hairs. Loosens hairs from skin so you won't have to pluck. With daily use, you'll notice less. Can be a tad bit drying, but I have sensitive skin and tend to overuse. Has a scent similar to rubbing alcohol - just don't inhale!

Love the product. Have been using it for years. One of the bottles in this particular order had leaked despite being what looked like securely packaged. When i cut off the plastic wrapping the bottle was damp and the lettering was pretty much worn away on the bottle. About 1/4 of the tend skin was lost!

This product is easy to use. Compared to prices in waxing salons it's also a good deal. Plus most importantly, it works as expected.The only downside is the rubbing alcohol smell; but everything else is great. I like having no ingrown hairs. - posted by Greg's wife

To be honest, this is simply a good product but by no means life changing. It is not as revolutionary as many other reviewers on here claim it to be. Don't think that this product will completely eliminate your razor bumps because it won't... it's not a magic solution. Take this from somebody who has been using it for almost seven years now. I have really sensitive skin and break out in razor bumps every time I shave, especially on my neck. All you do is put a bit on a cotton ball and dab it onto the affected area. It burns like crazy. Also, initially it dried out my skin which I did not like. It was quite an uncomfortable feeling, but the more I used it, the less dry my skin felt thankfully. I will say that it helped my situation, but just a bit. My razor bumps are smaller and not as red now, but I still get them all the time after shaving. Your skin will not be totally clear after using this product, so just be weary of the hype and go into it with realistic expectations. The bottles are expensive too but they last a long time because you don't need to put a lot.

The bottles are tippy but the product is good, it can sting or burn a bit, this product in addition to exfoliation should do the trick
