We were a bit unsure since new product and reviews were sparse, but with more transmissable Covid19 variants coming to the US we wanted better protection. Most N95 masks are reserved for healthcare and cost an arm and a leg, so we felt lucky to find N95 masks, especially at such a bargain price.The mask construction is solid with a nice thick metal nose plate to reduce nose leakage and nice tight fit around the perimeter. They have ear loops which are much easier to put on and take off than head /neck straps, and 4 ply construction with two center layers of paper mesh and outer layers of thin mesh. My wife liked the heavy filtration for short trips to the store, but they were a bit too restrictive for my all day use, so I carved off the inner two layers at the bottom breathing zone to improve breathability and reduce my glasses from fogging. They also have a bit of medical odor so you may want to leave them out to off-gas for a while before wearing. A few of the ear loops broke off, but it has only happened once out of first 12 masks. After I reattached with Goop it is better than new.Overall we are happy with our purchase, especially considering the alternatives.

This BYD KN95 mask is nearly identical in performance and features to BYD N95 mask (the blue one), with the obvious difference that it's white in color and it's not an N95 mask. Other than that, I can't tell these masks apart. The main reason for my 4-star rating is that this mask fits pretty tight. On my face, it feels especially tight on my cheekbones and on the bridge of my nose. This is OK if you're only wearing the mask for short periods of time, like an hour or so, but if you plan to use it for, say, an international flight or other situations where you'll have to wear it for hours on end, it'll probably start bothering you. Other than that, this mask forms a good, tight seal on my face and keeps air out, when worn correctly. The elastic bands are sturdy and long enough to keep the mask in place without causing any discomfort or pain. I can only detect a very slight new fabric odor when I first put the mask on, but it fades quickly and it doesn't bother me at all. These masks are individually wrapped, which makes them portable, practical and sanitary. I recommend this KN95 mask for everyday use.

I've used N95/N100s for work for decades, so I'm familiar with the fit testing, quality and comfort of the industry standard masks. A good respirator should allow one to work 8 to 10 hours somewhat comfortably and these BD masks allow this. Just to test it out, I rode a bicycle 12 miles wearing it.To test for air gaps at home, I dehydrated a dozen Jalapeño peppers and ground them into a fine flour using a bread flour grinder. The smallest particle size is ~5 µm. The Jalapeño powder inhalation test is a good home method to test for proper fit.While this test won't determine if it prevents small aerosols (0.5 µm), it does tell you if the respirator fits properly, because the Jalapeño dust will make you sneeze profusely if the dust gets in from air gaps. No gaps when I put it on correctly.

If you're a hearing aid wearer like i am, you know that the Over The Ears loops are dangerous - constantly catching on our expensive aids. These Behind The Head masks are a perfect solution. Even after Covid, I keep a mask folded up in my back pocket and these masks have withstood the test of time. After months tucked away, they come out ready to do their job

Unfortunately, these were incredibly too tight for my adult head and nose. I will not be able to wear them. I am not sure about the return policy to be honest, but since they are masks I'd much rather give them away than return them anyway. They may fit well for a child. They are individually wrapped but the outside box came pretty crumpled... Could have been the way it was packaged or shipped. I would suggest buying the regular masks that don't wrap around your head and an elastic mask extender. I was trying to avoid that by giving these masks a shot that wrap behind your head. Unfortunately the straps aren't adjustable so the fit is just not wearable. I think they should make different sizes and that would solve it.

This mask is too big for my face. I prefer the Demetech N95 mask made in Miami, with the same design, as it is smaller and fits my face more tightly. Also, this mask has elastic attached with staples. The elastic hasn't come off, but I don't trust this type of attachment. The Demetech mask is not attached with staples. I think I have a normal size face, since Demetech also makes a cup N95, and they have a regular and a small; I take a regular. If this mask fits you, then it seems to be a good mask. I prefer this type of mask without elastic around the ears because I can wear it without it cutting into my ears. The nose wire seems pliable enough to fit correctly over the nose.

These are too tight. It's easy to put on but uncomfortable. These might be for people who have fine hair and not thick hair with smaller head. The few minutes I did wear it, my glasses didn't fog nor were my my nose and mouth exposed. No unpleasant smell. Affordable but just uncomfortable. It get the job done .
