Exceptional performance!
These pliers are surprisingly functional for many tasks. The jaws open very wide which allows them to grip large objects. I’ve got other pliers that fit in the palm of your hands like these, but I find them less functional overall because of the limited width they can grasp. The jaws of these pliers are unique because they have differs depths in the teeth. The tip is fine point and the back have more openings for grasping bolts. These pliers are easy to adjust, high quality and strength. And so dang compact I put them in my pant pocket and carry them like a pocket knife.

Super functional
The handiest small pliers I Own. They stow easily in the coin pocket of my jeans, and pair well with my Swiss army knife. Having two separate tools allows more versatility than a single tool. The quality is top notch and ergonomics are amazing. Im buying more for my sons.

Excellent Quality. Worth the price.
Why would anyone buy these they are expensive. Worth the money. I did maintenance work for 30 years and I've never seen anything this small be very useful. Their expensive but the quality is amazing and very solid. The jaw design is very tough and won't slip like cheap pliers. I never thought I'd spend $32.00 for a small pliers. But I'm keeping them and will buy more Knipex.

Great EDC item!
I’ve had the 5 inch Cobra before, but this 4 inch one fits all kinds of wallets and edc pouches much better. Yes if you have normal to large hands, you lose some grip strength afforded by the 5 inch version. But it so much more portable. The German quality is amazing. Everything from fit and finish to alignment is excellent. If you don’t need a needle nose from a multitool, this is a way better tool. It’s forged! This one differs in that there’s no locking button like the bigger brothers but that makes it unique and more one hand-able. Not very versatile like a multitool, but if you need a quality pocket pliers, this is it.

Too small once you actually have them in hand
If you’ve been eyeing these you probably got caught up with the EDC craze. The tool is well made and will last a lifetime if you don’t abuse them. They’re obviously not meant for hard use but will hold up well for small jobs. Now i gave them 4 stars because honestly they are tiny. I knew this going in, but once you have them in hand you realize they are way too small for practical use. Because of the small size the lack of leverage becomes apparent quickly. These are for someone who appreciates the SAK plier or leatherman plier but wants an upgrade. Still small enough to carry in a pocket but will find way more usefulness from the size compared to the SAK plier or leatherman. But honestly, if you’re someone who always has tools in the car, garage, cabinet…you’ll reach for those instead of this plier. But if you’re someone who’s out and about and needs a tool in the pocket at all times, these will work when you don’t need or have a regular sized tool. Still would recommend them just to fulfill my edc fix, but doubt I’d replace them if they ever get lost.

Extremely useful little pliers
I purchased this item because I had seen a video on social media of it being used. I bit the bullet and ordered one. It is just as handy and useful as I have seen anywhere. It has the ability to bite and hold while only applying pressure to the top arm. It is so small I put it in my pocket and forgot it was there. It fits your hand so well for being this small. I took it out of my pocket and left the house. When I arrived at my destination, I had a need for a small pair of pliers..Do not leave them behind. They are light-weight, sturdy and extremely useful.

Fantastic with common sense application.
Knipex tools are a step above in my experience and these Cobra XS pliers are no exception. They are well crafted and extremely versatile for their small size. Perfect for an EDC Kit, a motorcycle tool roll, a Backpack or for me, carried in my Range Bag. True, you aren’t going to plumb a home with them but for 70% of mediocre every day needs this Mighty Mouse tool will suffice. Indeed they arrived and were smaller than I imagined and seemed a little overpriced at first glance but after I inspected them and experienced the build quality I could justify the purchase and am very happy. I think most customers would agree.

Stop carrying a leatherman
Knipex pliers are amazing . Even this size can do a ton of minor fixes. Used to carry a leatherman. Now a swiss army knife ( superior steel) and these.

Un must have da avere sempre con se. Impossibili da rompere, dalla presa veramente aggressiva. Piccole ma potenti. Veramente soddisfatto

This is another one of those things I'd seen reviewed on a Youtube channel and having recently needed a small pair of pliers to tighten something and struggled with my large ones, I thought this looked like it would do the job. It's a brilliant little tool and feels incredibly solid given its miniature scale. It's hard to believe it will adjust quite so much given its size and you can get a really strong grip. A top tool to add to the kit and takes up very little space.

Utile pour le petit bricolage et resserrer des boulons, même pour resserrer la pince d'une ceinture qui ne tenait lus la lanière !

This pliers is amazing. But there are distinct differences vs Knipex 87 01 125. 100 is easier to hold and operate with a single hand, faster and more practical, even though it doesn't have a button, it doesn't hinder its operation, in fact it's a better mechanism than button of 125. It's definitely smaller than 125 and more precise. It's almost like a tweezers on steroids, you can use it as tweezers and expect to grab, pull and hold tiny things with great power. It's small size gives you the ability to include it in your edc bag, emergency bag. Easier to carry around, fit into any pocket or small place where you wouldn't normally hope to hold this much power in. But mind you, it's not better than 125, it's just a smaller alternative to do "smaller" things. There is a great overlap of usage between 100 and 125, almost 80%. But 125 is just bigger. 125's jaw is more than 2x wider, which gives you definite more grabbing strength where you can utilize full width of the jaw. And it's longer so the leverage can apply bigger power, it makes a difference while trying to turn some nuts with it. If a nut is unpleasant to operate with 125, it will be even more unpleasant with 100. But think about it, 100's thinner jaw also means that it can stick it's nose into places where you normally wouldn't expect to fit a cobra pliers in. That's why it also operates like a tweezer. And no other tweezer could provide this much power the 100 can. That's why it's a very valuable edc bag addition. And since it’s a cobra pliers, it can change the jaw height and is able to grab many different things. The drink or medicine bottle cap that was causing problem to your wounded hand is no match against this. I’m happy to own both 125 and 100. I see 100 as power pliers and the wonder cobra pliers. And 125 as more powerful version of 100’s. Sure there are other cobra pliers, where there are size, carry bag limitations you just can’t carry everything with you. And these small cobra pliers continue to surprise you very often.
