I purchased the Brother DCP TA 20 DW from Amazon about 6 month ago, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The printer has exceeded my expectations in every way, and I highly highly recommen to anyone looking for a reliable, All in one solution Pros: 1- Outstanding Print quality: The prints are sharp and clear whether it's text or colourful images. I have used it for reports, presentations photos and the results are always excellent. 2- Super cost efficient: The refillable ink tank system is fantastic. I have printed like hundreds of pages already and the ink levels are still going strong. It's so much cheaper than traditional cartridge printers. 3-Easy to set up and use: Straight out of the box. The setup was super simple. The instructions were clear and the interface is very user-friendly 4- Convenient features: The automatic duplex printing saves a ton of paper and wireless printing works flawlessly. I can print from my phone using the Brother app, which is very convenient. 5- Multifunctional: It is scan copies like a pro. I use the scanner for both documents and photos and the quality is superb. Now let's talk about Cons. 1- Slightly Bulky: It takes up a bit more space than I expected, but it's manageable. 2- Pricey at first: It's little more expensive upfront, but the savings on ink make it worth every penny. Final thoughts: This printer is an all in one workhorse, that's perfect for both personal and professional. use the refillable ink system is a game changer and the print quality top notch. After researching for a long time on what ink tank printer should I be upgrading to from old desktop ink jet cartridges printer. It was a battle between big names, and this product right here caught my eye, the features it offered were extra for the same price as others. If you are looking to upgrade your printer to all in one type with duplex print and auto feeder for scanning, this is the best bet. Setting it up was easy, wifi, Lan, USB works great on all. It's bulky compared to other ink tanks with wifi due to so many features it offers. But be rest assured, it'll become your workhorse. The Borderless prints and the quality of HD images even on a normal plain a4 paper is what will spoil you forever. Pdf printing is a breeze now, booklet printing has solved major office mind peace. No more wasting time printing documents on both sides and scanning one page at a time. It's well worth the money, it'll save so much time which was being wasted playing with old printers, slapping them around when pages got stuck. It doesn't make those squeeky sounds which hp and cannon printer make. It's fast. For sure feels like Japanese people knew they were building a printer that'll work for years to come. Can't comment on ink consumption, will update later. In the meanwhile please check the print images. All in all, if you have the budget around 15k, please add in some more and get this.

Writing this after 2 years of usage. Was bit pricy and it never disappointed. Keep it away from dust with some cover and it will be your loyal machine. Used maintenance function when ever i used it after a while or found some deterioration in print quality.

Quality of print - good. Ability to connect to it to actually print - IMPOSSIBLE Ability to reach out to company for help - really really tough. But eventually someone did come Sincerity of their staff was high - two engineers came - but complete inability to solve the problem So we have a massive super expensive paper weight. Even if we connect by wire we are unable to print. Stay far way from this model

Decided to buy this ink tank printer after looking into lots of options. Satisfied with print and scan quality. Printing & scanning via Wifi also works fine. My daily driver OS is Cachy OS at Home, was worried a bit about driver issue popping up, but everything worked out well, no driver issues. Except, that it seems gscan2pdf is not detecting the usb connection, but it is detecting the scanner via wifi and scans. Other apps like Libreoffice, Okular etc detects both usb & wifi connection of the printer. Main attraction for me to choose this printer was the duplex printing feature and it works beautifully. Wish the ADF scan also had the ability to duplex scan. Servicing issue may crop up in future, since my location bit remote and Brother Printer is relatively uncommon in this part of India. Recommended.

Brother printer is ANOTHER happy purchase of 2025. I switched from color laser printer at home, and replacing cartridges was a nightmare as each costed 300-400 SAR. DCP-T820DQW from Brother is not only fairly priced but OEM ink is extremely cheap to refill. It has all the features like Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), auto-duplex printing, scanning, main paper tray and multi-purpose paper feeder. Extremely recommended. It accepts A4, letter and photo-printing paper. Printing speed for color is very reasonable. One piece of advice that allies to all inkjet printers is that don't power-off the printer, keep it looked to the power socket and let it manage on/sleep state automatically. Doing so, increases the life of printing heads and ensures ink doesn't dry/clog. In short, HIGHLY recommended.
