Brace Direct Semi-Rigid Active Ankle Brace Stabilizer for Sprain Support and Protection for Volleyball, Basketball, Football and more - Men and Women

I twisted my foot and ended up with a really bad sprain. Had not seen dr yet. Had a full week of prior commitments so had no time to see dr. Went on Amazon to locate a brace that would support my ankle from twisting again while I was on my feet so much and that allowed me to still drive. ( I had thrown together a makeshift brace for support by using the back part of a back brace then taking the Velcro part that wrapped around stomach to wrap around the brace on my ankle had to cut them off back brace. I had difficulty driving though with the makeshift brace) So finally Friday came and this brace arrived on time. I immediately put it on and started using it. It worked great for the job of driving and walking around especially when the swelling started in my ankle. Finally got to the clinic to get ankle X-rays and the dr was very impressed with this brace. I think he liked it more than I did lol. He said it was perfect and the same type they use with other injuries and surgeries. This brace had no review when I purchased it. I purchased mainly because it would allow me to still drive while I have injury and still give support while I hobbled around. I recommend putting it in shoe first then sliding foot in from back of the brace. I do not like sleeping with it so I purchased another type to sleep with. This particular brace though is great for driving and walking/ hobbling around.

I have a grade 3 ankle sprain, been in a boot for six weeks needed a step down support. It's comfortable, perfect amount of support, works great in my shoe. Doesn't rub at all. I freaking love it.

Light weight. I love that the Velcro is the right length.i can wear this every day. I love that it can move with me. Hinge style. I can put it in my shoes then slip foot inside. Thank you.

This is junk, its stuff and very uncomfortable, save your money and invest in good shoes with ankle support

Very cheaply made. Hard plastic and the straps are very short. Offers little too no support, would not recommend to buy.

It works great for my father in law. We have tried many ankle braces for him so far this seems to be the best support and comfort!

So sorry - brace broke apart under mild normal walking. It is unrepairable. Will try to post a photo - both braces broke in the same part.
