Piano Keytops - Piano Key Replacement - Simulated Ivory Complete Set

I have a 90 year old upright grand piano. The edges of the keys were chipped and would cut your hand if you weren't careful. These key tops fit perfectly and we're a breeze to apply. The E6000 glue was easy to use and holds the covers on well. We bought the 1oz bottle and We ran out of this glue and used contact cement for the last few. I suggest buying the 2oz bottle of glue. You won't need the whole 2oz but your will need more than 1oz. My children and students love the new key tops and how smooth they feel. We also love the ivory look. It really adds some character to the piano.

My piano had a lot of the ivory missing and these worked out well.

While these were not a perfect fit for my 1966 Cable Upright piano, they fit well enough that I am pleased with the outcome.We were gifted this instrument years ago with the keys already starting to chip. As you can see in the photos my keytops were badly chipped, horribly yellowed and generally in desperate need of replacement. The entire process took me an afternoon and only required a steak knife, a PVC-E glue, a small brush, a file and a screwdriver. My husband was kind enough to cut out a jog for me to space the ends of the keytops consistantly (he ripped a groove in a piece of scrap wood). I was able to play my instrument the very next day.

I ordered a set of ivory keys but only received 51 keys instead of 52. I returned them and had to pay for shipping. The second set I bought was perfect. They fit wonderfully. The keys are labeled on the end just in case you don't know where they go. The hardest part was getting the old keys off.

These look great and went on very well. Removing the old keys that hadn't fallen off or were just broken was a bigger pain than I expected. But very happy with the end result.

Not same length as my keys unfortunately. Id have to replace every one of them in order to match. Only needed to replace 10. I think I’ll use drimmel (?) tool and just sand down the chipped off fronts. (Little boys and their little toy cars....ouch)

These look cool and really spice up the keyboard on my 1903 upright but they stick out a little bit to far for my liking, also I accidentally bumped the box while installing and lost the order of the keys, if there was a label of some sort on the keys that'd be helpful (I kept mixing up the C and F keys)
