You had one job....
Smells good. But it’s not what I ordered. I ordered a SAN DIEGO candle because that’s our favorite city. We waited an extra month and got a 420 candle. My wife opened it at work and her coworkers saw. Pretty funny...however I’d like the right candle. In the mean time I guess I’ll just burn this one because it smells great.

This doesn't put me in a NY state of mind, but ...
I didn't quite know what to expect from this candle, but I was intrigued by the description of it and the reviews, so I bought it anyway. I lived in NYC for about 20 years, and when I think of the city, I think of street-cart roasted chestnuts, steam rising from the streets, the dankness of the subway, and asphalt in the summer heat. Probably better that the candle doesn't capture those last two. The actual scent is really nice. It smells fresh, with hints of Diptyque's Figuier candle -- relaxing as well as invigorating, somehow. My better half likes the way it smells, too, and he's not really a candle type of guy. I'd buy it again.

Nice candle, but doesn’t smell anything like Seattle.
C’mon, Homesick! This candle smells nothing like Seattle. Most people know what Seattle smells like even if you’ve never been…I think other cities might be more difficult, but Seattle is 4 things: coffee, rain, saltwater, and evergreen forest. I smell none of those things in this candle. Not one. The packaging is nice, and it appears it will last quite a while, which is why I gave it a star. But all I smell is something very floral and girly—not the gritty PNW town I’ve lived in my whole life. Fail.

Chicago candle = chocolate scent only
Chicago candle described as several notes. We only smelled chocolate when it was lit. It wasn’t an awful smell, but the chocolate note was very strong and if I had know this beforehand, I wouldn’t have purchased it.

A Comforting Reminder of Home
I've spent the past 20 years in NYC, but given COVID-19, I have fled back to my home country north of the border. I bought this as a reminder of all that NYC has offered. I didn't know what NYC would smell like (I assumed the worst!), but I think they have pretty well-nailed it...the Jasmine, Sandalwood and Grapefruit reminds of an early spring morning in the city and totally takes me back. Glad to have found the product and thinking of making this a gift this holiday season for friends and family!

If San Diego = A frat dude in a Gaslamp Club
I ordered the San Diego candle because I currently live in North Carolina and well, I'm homesick. Not sure what I was expecting. Maybe something beachy? If San Diego smells like frat dude's cologne after a night of heavy drinking in a Gaslamp club, then I guess they hit the nail on the head with this one.

Weak Scent
The scent for the Denver candle is pretty weak. I needed to burn the candle for around 5 hours before I even started smelling a hint of anything.

Perfect to keep or give
Packaged beautifully and wraps easily for a sweet farewell or welcome gift. It had my friend in tears as she moved away from her beloved town, and I didn’t feel like I was giving her junk as I know she’ll use it. I’ve also owned two myself. Lovely scent and quality!

Incorrect and a no show
Extremely disappointed ! Ordered 2 Hawaii candles and 1 New Mexico, this my second order after purchasing these last year. I received 2 Chicago candles and no New Mexico candle. As the “Hawaiian” candles were wrapped by me as gifts I wasn’t aware of error until after Christmas....nor have I had an update rd the no show NM candle. Had been so pleased with previous order, this a big disappointment
