These bookends are a lot more sturdy than I had exoected and I am really pleased with them. They are well made and arrived in perfect condition. They are holding up some heavy books with no problem and they look super cute, If I need more bookends I will definitely buy these again.

Am giving this item 2 stars solely because one of the bookends was very badly scratched when I opened the package. It would appear that possibly this item had been returned previously by another buyer, as the items were very well wrapped, so it is unlikely that they would have scratched whilst being shipped. I will keep them nevertheless, as too time-consuming to return. Apart from that, they are a good sturdy item, suitable for holding heavy or hardback books. They are a nice and bright design and a good size, not too big not too small.

Bright and cheerful. Slim but solid, so no flex the foot is a good 4” with rubber feet so won’t scratch and stays put. Just what I wanted

Nice looking, heavy and well made. They look great on the bookshelf and easily cope with a row of hardbacks.

They're bookends, they work, they suit my room. The only thing I could say is that they were heavier than I expected, which is good, have rubber underneath to stop slipping and there's a hole which I assume is to drill it down, if you need to, which I don't.
