Hey man! Overall very effective and affordable. The only downside side I see is the one end that the Ethernet cable is out into does not snap or click into piece. It has a tendency from its own weight and gravity, to disconnect itself. Look for one that “clicks” or “ snaps” I to place.

Terrible instructions. I downloaded driver. It Said successful install. If you then stop WiFi and do a speed test it works via Ethernet cable but the laptop still thinks it’s your WiFi connection. Confusing to use but it works. Don’t leave WiFi on or else the connection will be slower than WiFi. Updated the driver with Realtek osbgbe.

Sup nerds, you're probably looking here because there's tons of terrible USB to Ethernet adapters and most of em have bad Realtek implementations. This one has Realtek too (RTL8153 to be precise), but it's surprisingly pretty good. My setup from ISP to computer (everything connected via Cat 5E / 1gig ports): Verizon Fios 1gig up/down fiber optic internet > Verizon ONT > BENFEI USB 3.0 to Ethernet Adapter (Bus 006 Device 002: ID 0bda:8153 Realtek USB 10/100/1000 LAN) USB-A > Radxa ROCK 5B [OpenWrt R2026.02.10 router setup] (0004:41:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8125 2.5GbE Controller (rev 05) > TP-Link AX5400 (used as a switch/wireless AP) > Computer [CachyOS / Linux 7.1.0-rc3-2-cachyos-rc] (06:00.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation I211 Gigabit Network Connection (rev 03) I'm able to fully saturate both directions with reasonable overhead when running an iperf test via terminal. This is using the Rock 5B as a server and my computer as the client. Screenshot included with the details. tl;dr: fast reliable usb to ethernet adapter with a nice metal housing that helps cool it off. 3 months without any issues.

Le produit est de bonne qualité, plug and play (windows11), il ne chauffe pas (il a quelques composants électroniques sous le capot), il fonctionne bien en USB C ou en USB 3.0. : ce qui couvre les besoins en connectique avec des ordinateurs plus ou moins récents. Je recommande.
