Hot Tools Hair Heat Protectant Leave-in Treatment Spray, 8 Ounce

I’ve tried several different heat protection products. This is my favorite by far. Most others leave my hair with a heavy, sticky or stiff feeling. After using my blower dryer or Hot Tool styler my hair just feels soft and healthy.

It has a light fresh and pleasant scent to it. It dries nicely and helps to keep my hair healthy. I spray it on a brush like in the picture first and then brush a section of my hair with it. I brush underneath my hair and then over it and then I use the flat iron. I then do another section of my hair. This has been working well for me.

This product smells nice and has good heat protection potential, but the weight of the formula needs improvement. It comes out in a narrow forceful stream. I sprayed it into my hands, and worked it through damp hair. I transferred the product into a misting bottle, which didn't help much. I never could effectively spread it on dry hair before straightening.

Will definitely purchase again! It helps from damaging your hair from the heat of your hot tools and smells really nice.

I was on the hunt for an easy-to-use hair protectant with a neutral scent. This fit the bill perfectly. Pros - Easy-to-use (a few spritzes and you're good to go), neutral smell (not too strong or perfumey), this is not sticky or gooey... my hair has some protection without feeling greasy afterwards, price is right Cons - I wish there was another spray setting (similar to a Windex bottle - you can have a 'stream' or a spritz.) This spray bottle is a definite stream. I sometimes opt for my hands, so I can distribute the product throughout my hair.
