This is not a shielded audio cable!
I cut open this cable to replace one of the connectors, and was shocked to discover that there was no RFI or EMI shielding whatsoever, just three tiny wires inside (see photo). Audio interface cables like this should always be shielded to reduce noise and radio interference.The color coding of the wires wasn't even correct. The universal standard is white = tip, red = ring, and shield = sleeve. In this cable, the red wire was on the shield, and the black was on the tip.Will not purchase again.

The only thing I didn't like is that it is not coded. This type of cable should have green caps to match computer codes.

It is starting to mess up alittle, but still good when I hear the songs etc..Doesn't make the annoying sound it is making.. It has lasted me longer than another one I had bought before though. thank you!

works as expected
works as expected. arrived on time and in good condition. currently using it to connect my computer to my Philips TV to get sound working sense my computer wouldn't read anything else for connections for sound.

Yes, it's a cheap cord, it probably won't last very long. However, it does it's job most of the time (with the occasional crackling souns). You really can't go wrong with something that's less than 2$.

Headphones
I still use wired headphones to connect to my TV while working the computer. They work great.
