Has anybody been able to buy inks for the pro100,200or 300? I won't buy until I'm sure inks are available

I bought a 200 in late November and ran out of ink in December and nobody has any ink available in the complete set. Some of the 8 cartridges can be purchased but you can’t even get all 8, so I have had the printer sitting unused without a complete set of ink to print any photos. If I had known that the availability of ink was an issue, I would not have bought it at the time. I have talk to Canon and they have no timeframe for availability of the ink. They blame the pandemic, but they have not had any ink since the product was released. It is an awesome printer and it did a beautiful job but my level of frustration is at a level 10.

Is this printer worth the cost? I’m looking at purchasing my first printer to print photography (mainly) and the $600 piece tag is what’s holding me b

This printer is the successor to the Pixma Pro-100. I've had two of the 100s and they both performed very well (I use my printers extensively, perhaps 200-300 pages per week, several in 13"x19" format.) I'm looking forward to the 200; the new portrait mode offers new opportunities.

ny updates on the ink shortage ?

Not sure why people keep saying there’s a shortage. All of the individual inks and the 8 pack are available for sale on Amazon and elsewhere. Search “CLI-65” for the part number

Does this printer only print photos?

Prints any kind of graphics plus tenets photographs beautifully.
