These Vetco driver bits arrived fast, and are exactly as advertised. How well you can see the markings is a vision test, and there’s little the manufacturer can do about that. Rub a red or yellow crayon on the markings if you have to.Some advice for other shoppers: Take comments like “rusted right away” or “stripped the screw head” or “too magnetic/not magnetic enough” or (especially) “broke when I used it in my impact driver” with a huge grain of salt. Tool steel is what it is: a high carbon, never stainless, steel that is intentionally hard, strong, and resistant to deformation. It is never going to be stainless steel, because SS is too brittle to make good tools. If your tools rust, you are not caring for them properly. As someone who spent 12 years building with steel studs in the winters and in unventilated (hot and humid!) commercial building projects in the summers, I know it is perfectly possible to keep tool steel rust free. And sometimes a drop of water gets in you bit case. Not the manufacturer’s fault.If you overtorque, you will damage either the screw or the bit—or if you are really talented, both. That’s called user error and is not a fault of the tool or the manufacturer.If you put a bit in an impact driver and that bit is not specifically rated for that use, you probably deserve getting a piece of that bit stuck in your eye. Don’t do it, and don’t downgrade a review because you did something dumb.Qualitative complaints like the amount of magnetism : nobody but you can guess what specific secondary and tertiary qualities you might want. The user will just have to experiment until they find a brand they like.So: do people rate it well for its core advertised purpose? Durability? Reliability? Speed of delivery? Focus on that and blow off the obvious morons.

I like that this set was made in Taiwan and not China which usually implies better quality. Don't like engraving were hard to read. Filled them with paint pens, scrubbed with scotchbrite and coated with spray clear matte per photos. happy now.

Was able to remove some 1/8" hex head bolts that destroyed 4 other Allen keys and drill bits I had. I didn't hold out much hope, but I as able to use a !/4" ratchet with the 1/8" bit and back out all 3 bolts without breaking, or deforming the bit. Very pleased with the purchase.

I've been putting a lot of furniture together over the last year and I'm tired of using the cheap Alan wrenches that come with the kits. I'm surprised that these hex heads aren't included the multi drill bit sets, but buying this set is worth the extra money as more and more things are using hex head bolts/screws. These bits appear to be very sturdy and should hold up well.

If you’re going to use these in a screw gun or a drill, do it. Anything else, there are better products for you. These are allegedly 1/4” drive. They fall out of the screwdriver base that holds 1/4” drive bits. Not they come out easily. They just fall out. And they’re terrible for tight spaces. Bought these 9 months ago and I’m already back here buying replacement that aren’t obnoxiously long. These have a place in your toolbox. It’s just restricted to drill only.

These seem like decent quality, I have not had any issue with the heads rounding. Good price. Magnetic is a plus and easier to use than a traditional L shaper Allen wrench. Worth the money.

This Allen wrench bit set was a great buy. I had to disassemble an item that was made up of all hex screws. I initially put the item together with a manual tool which took quite a while. When the new hex drill bits arrived I was able to complete the disassembly in a few minutes. Comes with both standard and metric fittings.
