SUNLU PLA Plus Filament 1.75mm White 1KG | Neatly Wound, Upgrade white PLA Filament, Dimensional Accuracy +/- 0.02 mm, Fit Most FDM 3D Printers

SUNLU filament is one of the best filaments I've used. I have tried a handful of brands and nothing compares to the reliability of SUNLU. Every time they come in a vacuum sealed bag, and they seem fairly dry. Its hard to tell though because I typically throw all my filaments in the drier just in case. The print quality comes out great each and every time, they stick to the bed great and if you keep them in a dry place they print great. I will continue to buy again and again for my 3d printing needs!

Just the stuff my grand sons needed. I don’t understand much but it fit their3D printer. Thread was white.

Pros: Well bonded layers are very strong. Low odor. Great bed adhesion. Color(white) is very nice for my application. (Sewing Machine Parts) Neatly spooled. No tangles. Packaging was great, and fast. Lower cost. Variety. Cons: Slight adjustments to flow rate and esteps needed (on my machine) Flow related bonding issues. Temperature sensitive (and associated blemishes) The diameter of the (hub) is significantly larger than other filaments I have used to their very ends. This causes some of the under extrusion and flow issues described earlier. (If you’re using the stock spool rack on an ender 3 or cr6 se). Overall I’m content with this. I solved most of the issues I faced, fairly easily. I did however very soon after order a kg of the previous filaments I was very happy with. I don’t recommend it for someone who expects it to just work out. But if you have any of the machines or accessories with the base and roller for your spools, I would expect better results. For the price I’m liking it.

This was my first time buying/using SUNLU PLA Plus. Printed well at 215C, good bed adhesion. I did put this through a filament dryer (6hrs@50C) prior to first print. Minimum stringing on the first print. No clogging. Color is good, white was true white, no off color. This reel is reusable so you can purchase refills to save extra money in the future. Will likely purchase more of this brand, but more colors.

Sunmu filament is amazing!

First off, I am a newbie when it comes to 3D printing so I am still figuring out what makes a print great. For this reason, I typically would not rate this product just yet, but I just bought this brand of white PLA after using HATCHBOX PLA in white since 2018 and I am seeing a big difference in the two products so figured I could do more of a comparison review. HATCHBOX is a true white, whereas the SUNLU is a bit off-white. HATCHBOX printed a box, on the first attempt, with no warping. I am on my third attempt to print the same box using SUNLU, the first two attempts warped so I am having to get creative. I have a non-heated, glass print-bed and use the blue painter's tape and a glue stick for most of my prints with no issues. In this third attempt at the box, I am using CCTREE 3D Printer Build Surface that has an adhesive back and glue. I may have to try hairspray if warping occurs again. So far I much prefer HATCHBOX PLA over SUNLU PLA. Though time and trial will only tell if the warping is more user error or PLA error. ================================ UPDATE: lowered my rating from 3 stars to 1 star. I have used about half the spool and I am having major issues with the filament getting stuck. Went to check a print today and my little Flashforge Finder was moving away without any filament pushing out. There was plenty left on the spool but the filament was stuck together. The filament seems very brittle and dry. I won't buy SUNLU PLA again.

It’s a great white. It’s also easy to extrude with my p1s. The only issue is that it tangles so easily. It gets caught up as it’s pulling into the print head and tangles and causes my prints to fail. I’m not sure what that’s about, as I’ve bought a couple of these rolls and I’ve had the same issue. (Black and White). Otherwise, the pla itself is clean, the roll appears to be neatly wound prior to using it…it just tangles.

Ordered for a friend to print for me. The final product was nice and the material performed as advertised. Have bought again.

He estado comprando varias marcas de filamentos para saber cual es el que mejor me trabaja. Definitivamente este filamento me ha funcionado de maravilla, solo realice sus test basicos y he obtenido impresiones bastante limpias, apenas logro percibir las uniones entre capas. Se los recomiendo para que lo prueben

Temperatura de 215 °C, velocidades de 80mm/s. Con este rollo aprendí muy bien a tunear mi impresora. Fue excelente compra, volveré a comprar. Siempre y cuando el rollo venga bien sellado y al vacío.

Buen filamento lo único es que el color blanco en un poco trasparente
