Q: Will these fit a 1994 ford explorer?

They will fit a Ford explorer just got to fabricate a little bit really easy there's plenty of room

Total of 2 speakers "Left/Right". They also come with speaker covers, hardware and a good amount of wire to work with. I have them installed in my 97 Miata. No fitment issues on the door. sound quality is excellent.

Q: Do these have good bass? Loud?

They do sound good on an amp pushing around 50-75w rms. If you want heavy bass, you're gonna want to look into subwoofers. Depending on your car and airspace in the cabin/trunk is what you'll want to go by for optimal sound. I have these speakers for the good mids and highs on an old alpine amp turned way down, a pair of Lanzar max series 6x9s that run on 300w rms each... 600 max, and a Fosgate p3 12" sub in a bandpass box in the back seat area of my extended cab gmc sierra and it sounds like a theater. Stand outside 20 feet away and feel the pressure waves hit you. The p3 is 11 years old and still sounds like new btw. Rockford Fosgate makes some of the best stuff out there.
