I didn’t have to dismantle the entire arm rest. I saw a video o YouTube for an easier way to replace the aux jack. My brother in law used a tool to wedge in between the frame of the aux jack to push it out. Much easier! Worked as soon as I installed it. No more static noises and no more hearing music from my speaker phone ! Easy to install for my 2007 Toyota Prius. Good quality. Value for my money. Fits perfect (4 pin)

Great product! Worked for my car. I saved $500 doing this myself instead of taking it to a mechanic. When the mechanic quoted me to replace this piece for $520, I was determined to do it myself. After some research, I was equipped with the knowledge to change it. Luckily my car is very easy and it literally took 2 minutes to change myself.

not sure about longevity since we just installed — but so far, works fantastic. sound quality is exactly the same as on-brand product. install didn’t even take 60 seconds, fit perfectly. used on 2007 toyota yaris!

I purchased this as a replacement. However, once installed, it only played music from the left speakers. I ordered a second replacement from a different vendor, and the stereo works just fine! Item arrived defective. Would not recommend purchasing from this vendor.

I replaced my old factory AUX input with this one and the installation was easy breezy (thanks, YouTube!). I did have to use a butter knife to pop the original port out, but once it was loose, swapping in the new one took seconds with no other tools necessary. This replacement works like a charm. I’m so happy to ride around listening to my tunes without worrying about hitting a bump or tugging the cable and losing sound. Great little fix!

I am not a car person- i have never repaired my own car - (i am a computer IT person so maybe a tiny bit more knowledgeable then the average person maybe?) But this was easy to install and use. Took out old part inserted new working part. Works as intended, no noticeable difference in sound quality or issues. Fixed my issues, and didnt have to pay an arm and a leg.

It works. For 2nd gen Prius, remember to save the outer frame of the original installation. I wish these came in 1/4" audio connection for better durability.

It was the wrong size plug port for a 2009 rav even though it’s advertised as it fitting. It’s too small.
