The tray are exactly what I wanted. One tray holds (18) 4" pots, and the trays are plenty strong for small plants. I'd say the tray is designed quite well for 4"/5" pots, and maybe 6". The tray strength would be a problem if wanted to load the tray with ceramic pots or much larger pots. For me it's perfect.

The chemical smell is overwhelming and does not go away. I put them out in the garage to air out, but the smell was just as strong weeks later. Sturdiness and durability looked good, but the smell was headache inducing so I had to return.

These seemed sturdy and very good for the price I paid! I used them inside the matching solid tray for seedlings in soil blocks. The mesh allows for watering from the bottom. I take out the mesh tray with the seedlings, pour about 1/2" water into the solid tray, then slowly place the mesh tray back in and let the water come up through the holes. Works great!

These are the best trays i have had in decades of greenhouse use. I REALLY like the small holes on the bottom. With some landscape fabric luning the trays it keeps slugs off my seedlings.These are a substantial material and do not bend under weight.

nice, thicker 1020 mesh bottom seedling trays! not flimsy so the plastic doesn't crack and rip when you pick up the tray even when full of seedlings. i plan on keeping these trays outdoors with humidity domes to act as mini greenhouses.

They never arrived. I ordered them in September, and they were always listed as "coming," even after Amazon said, "I think these are lost." They look like they'd work if you had some. If you don't, they don't work very well.

Not as heavy as I expected. The sides of the trays warp inward. The packaging was pitiful. It traveled around the world, from China, in a cheap plastic bag. No box. No padding. One of the trays was cracked, and the shipping bag was partially torn open at both ends.

Trays are sturdy enough, and I am 100% satisfied! However, it took a rather long time to arrive (three and a half weeks) since they were shipped from China. That is the only reason I dropped one star. Otherwise, the quality of the product is excellent, five stars.
