The box I received was 14X9.5x9.5 smaller than advertised. The fatwood was actually good quality and works fine. The only disappointment was the smaller dimensions. The shipping cardboard box is the size that is listed on the product description. The wooden box is very impressive and beautiful can actually make an indoor/outdoor decoration.

Beautiful box and genuine fatwood. We’ll keep the box and replenish with bulk wood from this company; it’s far superior to some that we ordered from another seller last year (that appeared to have been soaked in a black-smoke producing chemical). This burns cleanly, hot, and smells divine. Definitely the real deal.

Although I was looking for ecostix which were nearly sold out, I found this collection of hardwood boxes which really seemed nice both from asthetic purpose and functionality since the boxes with the sticks generally come loose and this box helps to manage them more efficiently. It's also a cool talking point when people come over.

. . . and the box is handsome enough to keep inside by our back door. We use 2 pieces of fatwood with one of those mini haystack fires tarters and 3 pieces of Pinon firewood teepeed. Viola, a really great patio fire within minutes.

I loved everything about this. The fat wood that was in the box catches extremely quickly and you don’t have to keep adding more making the product go further by using less.The box that it came in is seriously cute and just well put together!

I love these little things! No need for paper in the fire any longer! They are an awesome fire starter, just a little expensive.

Wooden box and graphics are very tasteful an a great way to store your fat wood. Can be refilled forever.
