Boiron Calendula Cream for Skin Irritation Relief

I saw this calendula cream mentioned in a TikTok video as a must-have during radiation treatments, and it worked fantastically. I applied it several times a day as recommended by my doctor, and my skin never burned the way many people warned me it might. The cream is thick but not overly so, and I didn't find it greasy at all. It rubs in easily and dries down quickly. I also appreciate that it doesn't have a strong fragrance since I'm not a fan of heavily scented lotions, especially near my face. One tube lasted me through five weeks of treatment, and there's still some left. Overall, it was a great value and a product I would happily recommend.

This product is wonderful! It was given to my sister by her doctor when she was going through chemo and radiation. I had a very bad flare up of my eczema. The prescription steriod ointment was totally useless. This cream is amazing! It calmed the painful itching & burning on contact. I tried to find this in several pharmacies with no luck. Thank goodness for Amazon! I immediately bought several tubes. One was for my use and the others I gifted to family. This product is amazing and a must have for people with skin irritations. It is fragrance free, creamy, non-greasy, moisturizing and soothing all in one.

I bought this cream because a reviewer recommended it. It is gentle and soothing. I later learned from an oncologist that this cream is used to treat burns from radiation treatments. I have never found anything as effective for small burns as the sap of an aloe plant. Instant relief. But the doctor explained that with larger burns, sterility is a concern.

I struggle with reoccurring rashes on the top of my hands and in between fingers since childhood. Still haven’t been able to narrow down a dietary or topical exposure cause, and our household prioritizes natural/non toxic/fragrance free products as much as possible. When a flare-up happens, it seems like everything becomes irritating, even water. I have tried countless products over the years, but nothing seems to help. This product is a God-send. It is not particularly moisturizing, but protects the disturbed skin barrier and reduces inflammation and itching. It never gives a burning sensation like some medicinal creams do. Within a day or two, there is visible improvement, and now I can usually get my hands back to normal in a week, even during the winter. The smell is very mild, almost unscented, and it absorbs quickly with no oily residue. I use multiple times a day (basically after every hand wash) when needed. Hubby had a patch of eczema for years that cleared up in a few weeks of consistent use and stayed gone with this product. If you are struggling but don’t want medicated creams, try this. I keep it at home, in my purse, on my desk at work. I hope it brings hope and results to you like it did for us!

I bought this to help with my peri-oral dermatitis and it does ease the irritation during a flare! The cream is sticky/tacky but it works for my POD when I use it as a base during my skincare.

Boiron is the choice for creams and other items they produce. Have used this cream for years. Superb consistency, creamy texture and not drippy - thicker than lotion as it should be, but easily worked into the skin. Extremely effective for the use it's intended.

Love this cream. The only lotion I use on my face. Never makes me break out and actually helps keep acne away!
