Great buy
Placed it on a Di Modell strap. Well made tank of a watch but wears comfortably. One of my favorites. There is some glare off the watch crystal dependent on the angle of light source but it doesn’t bother me. It competes with Seiko watches double or triple the price. Love this thing.

Great watch for the price.
The only thing I can fault this watch for is the bracelet, which made squeaking noises until I put some oil on it.

Almost perfect
I received this watch as a gift from my wife and son recently. It is not my first Orient watch, but it is my favorite.I will get the bad out of the way first. The bracelet. This is where watch makers will skimp to bring the price down. I understand business and making more money, but this band is complete garbage. Not to mention, Orient didn't design the lugs the same as anything else. Triton 1, Kamasu or any of the other popular models. No 3rd party support for bracelet options. End links are hollow and the links feel very cheap like stamped pot metal. The pin and collar system for sizing isn't an issue and done very easily. Now the good. The size is perfect for my tastes. I have a 7 3/4" wrist and this wears great. It's just shy of 44mm. My guess is the crown being at 4 o'clock is the factor. I think this is a great idea on Orient's part. Crown is screw down and has a nice "pop" when unscrewed. Winding is very audible. I prefer this if nothing more than I know I am holding something mechanical. No slop in the hands or date wheel. Everything is tight.Lume is fantastic. One of the better lumed dials I own. Dial is very legible in all situations with the lume lasting well beyond 10 minutes in the dark.Bezel is rock solid. No play and it takes a little meat to rotate it. I'd much prefer a stiff bezel with no play than a soft one with slop.I couldn't tell you if the Sapphire Crystal has any AR coating or not, but isn't a mirror and looks great.Overall, I am very happy with this Triton II. I took one star away for the bracelet quality. I put mine on a NATO for now. Orient should just skip the bracelet on this and make a matching NATO like the other color ways they have. This will be a watch I keep forever.

Great value diver
Great value for diver. Stainless band is not quite as beefy as I would like, but doesn’t matter because I plan to put a nice leather strap on this watch.

The good and the bad
The good; the Orient diver has a nice quality look and feel to it. The bezel movement feels solid, the bracelet looks and feels good as well. Mine keeps +7 second accuracy in 24 hours, which is excellent. Now the bad; my only real complaint was in the delivery itself. Mine came loose in its case and wasn’t secured properly. It also came with zero paperwork, literature, or certificate of authenticity. I almost sent it back for this fact alone. All in all it’s a very nice watch for the price, and I really like the size of the watch. It’s simply the sketchy way it came to me that concerns me.

Crown Guard Fail
Had this watch for a month or so. At first i was struck by how simple and good looking it was, and the specs speak for themselves. After falling in love with the Kamasu V2 I wanted a second Orient diver. First annoyance for me was the super squeeky bracelet. I figured that would brake in but a month in it is still very squeeky. I had noticed right away that the crown felt much looser and less engaging than the kamasu when unscrewed, and that it stuck out slightly beyond the crown guards. Again, though it was no big deal until... I was taking it off and my dog bumped me causing me to drop it. It fell down right on the crown and dented the crown so badly that it stuck. Could not get it free at all. Some other review pictures here show how far it sticks out from the guards so I know it wasnt just mine. No other diver I own had this problem where the guard is manufactured in such a way as to not do its only job. I could maybe do warranty claim or get a replacement, but I really dont see myself wanting this in my collection with such a glaring issue.
