Best bang for buck and high quality
This stuff works great and it's the most cost effective good saddle soap. I've got obernauf's too and the cost difference isn't worth the maybe a touch higher quality on the obernauf's. Obernauf's is $30 to this one's <~$10. This stuff is quality and way way better than kiwi or that 4 in one tandy tries to sell everyone.Fyi, the white and yellow saddle soap from Fiebling are comparable. The black has a tint and leaves behind some black color to help keep blacks black. The white and yellow don't leave any color behind. Essentially it's safe to use white or yellow on anything including black leather but you can only use the black saddle soap on black stuff. If you've got 5 black leather things and one pair of red boots buy the white or yellow if your only biting one saddle soap. If you're a boot black, get both. I've got sensitive skin and this stuff is less irritating than 99% of dish and hand soaps. I don't have any allergic reaction, it can be a touch drying to bare skin but if using mink oil after on your leather that'll undo any very mild drying effect on your hands. Or you can just wear gloves but even I(someone reacts to everything) don't need toAlso make sure to buy a leather conditioner or oil to follow up with. You should always follow saddle soap with conditioner or oil. Thirsty leather cracks!!!

Not used this soap yet as it’s to replenish my stock. Have used this soap before on all my Leathercraft projects as I like the sheen it adds to my finish, plus it helps protect and feed the leather. Fiebings is a name I trust and associate with quality and value for money.
