Bought two, fit both horizontal and diagonal vents well, secure mount and good magnet strength. Worked great until after 3 months one of them stopped charging the phone even though the blue ring light was lit. Tried multiple power adapters and cables, to no avail. So far, so good. This seems to be a high quality, yet inexpensive, mag safe phone mount. It fits perfectly on the air vents in my Honda. The cord plugs into my car’s USB port, so I did not need to purchase an adapter. The charging functionality works well, and the magnet is strong enough that it has yet to drop the phone once, even over rough terrain. Only a couple of weeks in, but at this point, I would definitely purchase it again.

This works well. I'm using it on a 2014 Ford pickup with the round vents, and not the adhesive mount. The little foot is key to holding it in place and making it more stable. Also, the foot can rotate independently of the clip so you can have the vent pointing to the side, but the foot is still on the bottom to keep the phone holder from dropping down. The spring is strong and clip has a soft material to grab the vent. That keeps it securely mounted although I haven't driven over rough roads and it hasn't been exposed to summertime heat. The magnetic charger allows the phone to be used for navigation on long trips, which can drain the phone battery quickly. Overall, I think it's well designed and well made.

iPhone securely mounts to the base - works perfect. Not hot right now, but believe the mount looks well designed to keep phone cooler. The clamp style mount fixture works as advertised. The adhesive style did not stay adhered to my car interior. It may work better on top of dash, but will not stay attached to a vertical or near vertical dash surface based on my experience.

I’ve noticed that it charges my phone at a very fast speed, though it does tend to overheat sometimes. My quick fix for that is simply to point the air conditioning vent toward the charger, and that keeps it cool. It’s a small issue that’s easy to work around. The only slight downside, in my opinion, is the square shape of the charger face. Personally, I wish it was round to match the circular magnet. I think that would have made the overall design a bit more streamlined and visually appealing, but I understand why they made it square. It’s likely more ergonomic and gives you better control for adjusting the angle and spin. All in all, this product has exceeded my expectations, and I’ve already bought a couple more for family members who were curious about trying a MagSafe car mount. Works great IF you have a mag-safe case on your phone. I had to order a case like that for one of my phones, it fit no problem and the car mount worked great with it. My biggest quibble with the device is the butterfly clip that grabs onto the car's vent - it was a bear to open it and clamp it onto the vent grille. I mean, it took me over 5 minutes to be able to squeeze the thing open then clamp it because there's not a lot of room to fit my hand into the space. YMMV. Overall, I'm happy with it. The magnetic hold is impressive with the proper case, or if the phone is not in a case.
