Looking for a good electronics tool set that isn't cheaply made in China. Are these magnetic tips or not? Anyone use these tools for electronics?

Hello: This is a quality tool kit, made in America. Chapman has been in business since 1936. Each bit is made from tool grade steel, heat treated & black oxide coated. All of out bits have a knurled end & a ball detent. We do not use magnets in our process, more safe for modern day electronics. Our tools have many applications for electronics & our ratchet is very useful in tight places.

Will bits fit in a standard Hex screwdriver or do they require adapter.

Yes, our bits will work with most 1/4" hex drivers, although in some instances the ball detent in our bits could cause some issues with fit. However, please note that our parts are designed to be interchangeable with our own tools (in terms of fit and torque range), so we cannot guarantee how they will perform when used with drivers of other brands.

Can normal bits be used with this tools as well?

Hi: Any 1/4' bit will fit our tools however they will need to have some sort of stopping mechanism. Our bits have the ear stop, you will need something similar of the bits will slide through.

Will the bits of the chapman mfg 5575 master screwdriver fit on the cdi 401sm torque 1/4-inch female hex drive?

Our bits will fit into most 1/4 parts. They are not magnetic.
