The user guide could be a bit more clear, but I like it. lets me select the tones I want, Takes a bit of figuring it out. but that's pretty much anything you buy today. It works great with the Line 6 amp. really like the looper, and the tap button,. But it will ONLY work with a line 6 amp, so do not buy if your not using a line 6 amp. Bit pricey, but extremely handy, or should I say footy.

The FVB-3 Pedalboard arrived well packaged. The FVB-3 works as advertised. I have not learned all that it can do but it controls my amp flawlessly. It sure beats getting up and walking to the amp when you wand to change an amp model. I recommend the FVB-3 Pedalboard to anyone that has a Line-6 amp it will control.

This thing is awesome! Some people complain that the screen isn’t bright enough when playing outside, but it works great! When you’re playing outside, just look down from directly above it and you can see the screen clearly. Overall, this is one of the best investments for playing at home, recording, or playing live! LOVE IT!!!

I've had my FBV 3 for a few weeks, using it with an Amplifi 75. I picked this up because I found trying to use the Amplifi app to be too slow for switching tones, especially while playing, To me, this combo is a great practice amp setup, it might work for some live performance, but will probably be too lacking for most serious players. The FBV 3 seems solidly built and was pretty quick to figure out, which is good because the Line 6 documentation is minimal at best and not targeted to this setup. Luckily for my configure it was basically connect the ethernet cable that comes with, turn on the amp, and start playing. One nice thing is there is no need for seperate power, for both USB and Ethernet connections it is line powered. My only complaints are that the colored LEDs are not currently supported for this configuration, I think only the FBV 3 with the Firehawk 1500 support the colored LEDs. As my title mentioned, at this time compatible does not mean all features are fully supported on all configurations. Hopefully, line 6 will update things so that everyone can utilize the colors, it would make sense since the Amplifi app appears to use the same color coding. If not, hopefully they well be a little more up front/clear in their marketing The other issue is that effects are basically hard wired to specific switches. This wouldn't be a problem except you can change the order in the app, but the controller doesn't reflect this. Looking at the FBV II, they used to be more specific on the pedal board. The app shows when there is a pedal switch, but it uses the the app effect icon (s,d,m.) not the pedal board values (FS1, FS2, etc.). It would be nice if the app showed the foot switch assignment instead. Finally, the software update documentation is completely lacking. I found out that there was already firmware update, but couldn't figure out how to get it to work. They don't mention you need to download the Line 6 Software updater app (it's kind of hidden on the website). I ended up trying another line 6 update app before finding help in their forums. Even with it's minor challenges, I think if you have an Amplifi and want to faster access to the built in tones or better switching for when practicing, the FBV 3 is a win.

This thing is the best pedal board I've ever had, buttons are solid and click nicely, expression pedal need just the right amount of force and gives good feedback. The only thing I don't like is that it runs off an ethernet cable which doesn't coil as nice as a patch cable but I suppose to do what it does it's necessary. Leds on switches look great and there is no latency to the amp. Awesome

If you have a line 6 Spider 5 guitar Amp this pedal board is a great addition to the Amp.with the tap of your foot you can go through the presets in the Amp.use a looping patch.adjust peramitors of the FX.DELAY.REVERB.SO ON.Well built. coulor coded .uses a RJ45 .cat 5 cable conect.

great for stage if you set up amp right. but i needed the drum on and off there too.

Very high quality midi controller, I am actually using it with a Neural DSP plugin to control presets and wahwah with the expression pedal. Works great except it obviously does not get any state changes from the plugin, so it doesn't know when wah is enabled etc if you were to switch presets. Have to make sure to disable wahwah before going to another preset (with a hard press). In retrospect, this is way overpriced for what it is though.

Phenomenal controller, however Line 6 needs to do a better job providing detailed instructions. You will need to research online and on YouTube to figure out all the of many functions it has. It doesn't come with a complete manual. Just a pilot guide that covers a small fraction of the functions. Otherwise, the actual product is well made and works well. I'd recommend also purchasing the Line 6 Expression pedal.
