Pretty cool. Mine works well and looks nice. I have it on a table in the living room and the overhead fan lights are enough to make it turn. Interestingly, I tried lighting the globe from the side, and the globe would rotate in one direction for about a half turn, and then rotate in the other direction a half turn. With the overhead lighting, it rotates in one direction.

This is a great globe with the blue oceans making it an object of art. Placed in a book shelf area with overhead light which keeps it turning. Great conversational piece too.

I was mistake the wrong size was medium it’s look too small I made mistake the size to size its look too small earth solar I thought I want it medium it’s look perfect … I saw it cost too high price I made mistake the wrong size from medium to small look it’s okay .. I looked into the levitating globes and chose this instead. It doesn't levitate, but its slow rotation, without batteries, is soothing and fascinating. It just keeps spinning with no intervention...just like the real Earth! It is too small to use as a reference globe, but it is a fine size for a desk ornament. It takes some thinking to figure out how it could possibly work, thus it makes a good conversation piece. I liked mine so much that I ordered one as a Christmas gift for a tech-savvy friend. He appreciated his as much as I did mine.

I've had this for a few months now. I really wasn't sure I would think it was worth the money...it was an extravagant expense for such a small globe. After getting it and putting it in my office, I was mesmerized. This thing is awesome. I encourage you to look up on YouTube how these work...fascinating! The map and globe features are high quality. Keep in mind that it's not a super practical reference globe because it's always spinning and it always faces "up", but I did get this one because it shows the ocean currents and has shading to show topography. I bought a cheaper globe to have as a reference globe, this thing can just sit and look pretty all day and I'm 100% satisfied.

Der Globus ist pünktlich und gut verpackt bei mir eingetroffen. Dekorativ und faszinierend zugleich: eine sehr ansprechende Gestaltung in Kombination mit der Rotationsfunktion ganz ohne Batterie oder Netzteil. Globus dreht sich auch bei wenig Licht in Innenräumen. Absolut geräuschlos. Klare Kaufempfehlung für alle, die einen außergewöhnlichen Globus suchen. Für mein Empfinden aber kein Kinderspielzeug: der Globus ist überraschend schwer, wirkt stabil/robust verarbeitet, sollte aber sicher nicht fallengelassen werden.
