THE BEST NO-SHOW TYPE SOCK I HAVE EVER WORN!
These women’s anti-slip, no show socks by Sockstheway are truly the BEST shoe liner socks I have ever had. I am glad that I was prudent and credulous enough to purchase the 5-pair pack for $15.79, because after trying them out and seeing how great they are I would surely have ordered more. NOTE: ordering the 5-pack instead of just 1 pair at $5.97 represents a savings of $14.06 (when you consider that the price per pair when ordering the 5-pack is $3.16), and a $2.50 savings compared to the price per pair in the 3 pack.I am baffled by some the low-rating reviews that assert the socks are cheap, stiff and run small; did they even get the same socks I did? Cross my heart - I wear a large shoe and oftentimes shoe liner footsy-type socks like this don’t fit comfortably. These do! The socks I received are great quality, fit like a dream, and are comfy inside the shoes that I can wear them in (shoe styles that don’t show the tops of the socks.)The sock size is just as I expected, based upon my shoe size. The socks I received did NOT run small. In fact, the heel (although it stays put and is not baggy) has room to spare – see image #2.Based upon the socks I received, you can feel confident about ordering these socks based on your US shoe size.SHOE SIZE / SOCK SIZE5 - 8 / 8.5” - 9.5”8 - 11 / 9.5” - 10.5”WHAT’S SO GREAT ABOUT THESE LITTLE SOCKS*they are very well constructed, with multiple stitch patterns that compliment stretchiness, fit, and all-day comfort (note images #2, #3, #5, #6, and #7 below).* very stretchy, and retain their shape without stretching out and becoming loose as the day goes on.* anti-slip silicon strip and dots on the inside heel area prevents the socks from sliding down (see image # 4).* very comfortable to wear … the fit is perfect for me, and I love them!* soft, though not brushed, as some are; not as thin as some I have had, but not too thick either.* perfect to wear with Skechers and Tom’s sneaker-type outdoor, walking, and comfort shoes.* they come in 4 color choices: beige, white, black, and grey.* 3-pack and 5-pack options save money.CONS*while these are great with the above mentioned types of shoe styles, they are not low enough on the foot and heel area to be invisible when wearing heels, dressier flats, and ballet type shoes, etc. Even when wearing with my “Plush Peace and Love” Bobs Skechers, one side of the sock is visible a bit, but not enough that I won’t wear them. (See images #10, and #11.)The only negative thus far is that because they wear higher up on the foot and heel than some of the other styles of shoe-liner / no-show socks, the shoe styles that you can wear them with is limited.SUMMARYIn my opinion, these are truly excellent elastic no-show shoe liner socks when worn with the right style shoe, and they are worth the money. Something odd that might be a negative (but I will have to research in order to make a determination) is the oily-type stain left behind on the cardboard insert that is inside each set of packaged socks - obviously left by the silicone strip and dots located inside the heel area – see image #9. Until I discover 'why' an oily-type stain is left on the cardboard, I rate these great fitting no-show socks 5 stars. I have only had the socks for a short period of time and haven’t put them through the washer or dryer yet (I was jus so pleased with them that I wanted to get my review up right away!); I will be back to update my review once I do. Note: I liked the suggestion of one reviewer - to wash the socks in a garment bag so that they didn’t get tangled up and ‘lost’ inside pant legs and shirts. Please note:I PAID FULL PRICE FOR MY SOCKSKTHEWAY ANTI-SLIP, NO SHOW SHOCKS. I DID NOT get them for free or at a discounted price. Wonder why I took the time to write such a detailed review, with multiple images? First, because I am a writer with a compulsion to write. Second, because I am like you … I depend upon the comments and experiences of other consumers when making an Amazon purchasing decision. Please note that even when I do provide a review in exchange for a free or discounted product, I don’t feel obliged to write a positive one, just an honest and fair one. When reviewing products upon request I do not always rate a product 5 stars, or even 4 stars. If in doubt as to my credibility as an unbiased reviewer, please visit my public profile page and read the personal message in my bio. That said, this review took time to write, but I provided as complete and straightforward a review as possible, along with multiple pictures. I hope you found my review helpful and informative.06/25/16 UPDATE: I have worn these 'no show' socks all day several times, while spending much time on my feet. I find them comfortable, they have not slipped down under my heel at all, and they wash/dry well. I used 'easy care' washing cycle and a low heat setting to dry. Again, these are the best shoe-lining socks I have ever owned ... so glad I bought the (money-saving) 5-pair pack.BTW - in my initial review I commented on the stain (much like oil would leave) left on the cardboard inserts that were inside each pair of socks (see image #9). The stain was obviously left behind by the silicone strips in the heel area, inside the socks. I mentioned that I would research in order to try and discover 'why' the stain was left of the cardboard. Tried I did, I could find no reference to silicone leaving such a stain. So, I would appreicate hearing from anyone who has insight or knowledge that would help me understand 'why' the stain was left. Thank you.

Great anti-slip socks!
These socks are very comfortable, and stay put all day! They are made of a very thin/lightweight material and let your feet breathe pretty well even inside the shoe. With certain shoes you can see the very tip top of the sock heel poking out, but that is a minor issue. For reference, I wear a women's size 6.5 shoe and ordered these socks in the "shoe size 5-8" and they fit a little bit loose, but I've always had a hard time finding socks to fit smaller feet well.As with other itty bitty socks, I've found it's easier to wash them in a small garment bag, so that you can find them easily in the laundry. They tend to get caught up inside pants legs, shirts, or other miscellaneous items. All in all, these are some of the best no show socks I've tried, and if you buy more than one pair, the price is great!

don't waste your money
I think I've purchased every possible footie over the past 50 years, whether from the 99c store or these. I've even purchased some from C-----, the big box store. I bought these on the strength of the reviews. My shoe size is an 8 so I felt the sizing should work. Initially, the footie felt comfortably snug. The anti-slip strips inside the heel area seemed tactile and good gripping. It lasted about one hour before it kept slipping off my heel. @#@! I was on a 5 hours shift and after the first hour, I was stopping about every 15 seconds to pull it up, finally just ripping them off. Washing them didn't help their performance. I have to say that the 99c models worked more efficiently. At least they stayed on for about 4 hours before starting to slip, and washing restored their clinging powers. I'm mad that this is a multi-pair purchase. What a waste of money.

These are great quality and perfect no-show option for the new Chelsea ...
These are great quality and perfect no-show option for the new Chelsea Boots that have the deep slit at the sides. That was something I did not think about when buying those boots online. I plan to wear them in the summer with shorts and dresses, but a regular athletic ped/sock shows at the sides. I got these in beige and though you see a small bit of the sock (maybe 1/8-1/4") the at the very deepest part of the slit, I think I am the only one that would notice that. Plus every other girl is going to run into the same problem, they are the most popular new style for Spring/Summer 2017 and who wants to go without socks in ankle-height cowboy boots? There is also a nice amount of coverage across the top of the foot to protect your skin. They stay on very well, now occurrence of them slipping off so far. I would think these are styled to work well with Sketchers slip-on walking shoes as well. Not low enough coverage on the too to wear with most flats, except maybe loafers or moccasins. Hope this helps!

Does Slip If You Walk A Lot
These socks are barely "OK". I found that it bothers the foot with a bunion because the socks are fitted, forcing my toes together like a pointed shoe. Also, the sock does slip if you are actively walking around in them most of the day. I wore these with a fashion sneaker "loafer" where socks would look weird and I wanted to prevent heel-rub by the sneaker. During my vacation, the socks annoying slipped during the day. Not as many times as other socks that are similar to this, but they did slip.I suppose these would be perfect if you're not active, but if you plan on walking a lot, not recommended.

Smalls not really that smal
I ordered these in the shoe size 5-8, but they were still soooo big. I was hoping by going with a sock that was sized, it would actually fit my feet and be 'invisible' under my low-cut booties. Not the case. I wear a size 6 and these went almost all the way up to my ankle. They aren't any better than the one-size (or 5-11?!) that is sold in stores. However, the quality was fine. I just felt the fit was misrepresented.

Great "active" socks
These socks are perfect! Especially if you wear some of the walking shoes that are cut lower on the foot. I've already ordered more. They are not a thicker sock so if you're looking for some cushion these are not it.
