𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟯 𝗗𝗢𝗗𝗚𝗘 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗩𝗔𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗩𝗘𝗗 𝗗𝗧𝗖/𝗖𝗘𝗟
Perfect for 2013 Chrysler Grand Caravan. The Dorman part installed easily, with zero leakage and accuracy for both DTC and replacement part functionality in shutting off the check engine light upon the first start. The part is a durable replacement, beefier and better sealed than the original issue. Installation tip: A standard 27mm deep well socket fits the sensor. However, the clamp on the antifreeze hose (on the oil cooler unit, next to this sensor) is most likely installed with the tab blocking a socket from encompassing the sensor nut, even a thin-walled socket. I always pull the intake anyway to do gaskets and plugs while I'm in there, so I used a 1 1/16" box-end wrench. I'm glad I did because I found another leak. Note: It is not necessary to drain the radiator to do this job under normal circumstances. But stop what you're doing mid-job and drain the radiator if the coolant line beside the sensor is leaking, either from the connection/dry rot or even if you accidentally pierce it while replacing the sensor. If you don't, coolant and oil will shoot everywhere! The fastest way to drain it is to pull the overflow bottle straight up and move it out of the way. You can then reach down and unscrew the red drain plug either by pliers on the sides or a slotted screwdriver on the face.

FITS and Fixes P05 code For Dodge 2013 Charger
Works for 2013 dodge charger PO5 engine code i got for bad oil pressure sensor. Since i had to remove most of the top end of motor to get to it i just replaced the leaking OIL COOLER as well with all aluminum Dorman oil cooler. Fitment on both was perfect. Your engine code wont reset till after you drive vehicle for 60 miles unless you reset it at Auto store like O'Reillys. Dont forget to use thread sealant to ensure no leaks bc its a Real pain to redo

Quality on par with OEM
Installed on 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. Fixed my P0520 and P06DE codes. Works great, it's been installed for 6 months and 12,000 miles, no issues. Difficult to reach, I ended up using a small piece of scrap wood to get the threads started on the new part, see pic.

will by again
bought this to go with the Dorman Aluminum Oil cooler. Both work superior to the original oil pressure sensor.

Tight
Grate price! Hard to install/torque down. Taking out old broke one was easy (Connector wouldn't come off) but resistance installing and I backed it off to make sure lined up threads. No leak with plumbers tape.

This Dorman Oil Pressure Sensor Solved My 2012 Chrysler 300's Check Engine Light Error Code
The check engine light appeared on my 2012 Chrysler 300 3.6. The error code was P0520, which indicates a faulty oil pressure sensor. The oil pressure on the dash indicated a constant 99 psi, which I knew was incorrect. The sensor is easy to replace, but very challenging to get to it, so I wanted to purchase a great quality replacement to do the job one time. I purchased from Amazon the Dorman brand, which is well known for selling a product that would be accurate, compatible and leak free. The Dorman oil pressure sensor was not the least expensive, but still a great value. I liked that the sensor came with thread sealant already applied. The new oil pressure sensor is now installed, the dash pressure indicator fluctuates as it should and the check engine light is now off. Amazon offered next day delivery and I purchased a special oil pressure socket at the same time.

This sensor was purchased for a 2014 Grand caravan to fix a "P0523 - Engine oil pressure sensor/switch circuit high input" error code. A special thin walled deep socket is needed to remove the old sensor and install this Dorman replacement. The space is tight but can be done with a 6" ratchet extension. This switch is a direct fit for OEM and the thread is treated with thread seal to prevent leaking. There are several YouTube videos showing the exact steps. The check engine light was cleared and have not returned after 200km. This new sensor returns idle and load oil pressure numbers in line with expected values. There are many sensors available for 1/3 the price but I had one such sensor which came preinstalled on an upgraded aluminum oil cooler which failed after just 1.5yrs of use.
