There are many things you buy for your kids to make life easier that doesn't do jack crap. This item, however will turn a 12 hour car ride of pure screaming child hell to one of silence and bliss. I bought this for my 6 year old daughter because she loves to color in the car. We used it on a 4 hour road trip, and it SAVED THE DAY. She could color / write, eat, and even has a nifty tablet holder to keep her screen on. All kinds of extra pockets. You can strap it around the child or the carseat.We loved this so much we bought a second one for my 2 year old son. He is the hellion on road trips, yet we took a 9 hour car trip and he played, watched his tablet, and was able to roll his trucks all over without dropping them. Plus its a nice table to eat in the car, which is not easy for a 2 year old!!AMAZING purchase, seriously buy it! You will thank me!

I don’t normally write amazon reviews but I had to let anyone considering this know how amazing it is. It was so easy to set up. I purchased it for a trip we are taking in a few weeks but we had to test it out today. My son is 3 and I was worried it would fit over his car seat because it has bulky cup holders but it fit perfectly! The strap that goes around the car seat keeps it so sturdy and in place so it doesn’t move around while driving. We put the iPad and his drink in it and he was able to eat a snack and enjoy watching his iPad at the same time. There is room for coloring or other activities he would want to do for travel. I also loved how easy it was to remove when he needed to get out of his car seat. I just unclipped the side clip and slid it over to the other side and could get him out of the car seat super easily. Then once he was back in I can easily slide it back over his lap and clip it. Honestly such a good find! I highly recommend!!!!!

My daughter is three and I thought this would be a great solution for her to rest her iPad and lunch on while I drive. It works as advertised. However, what doesn't really get conveyed in these images is that the sides of the table are just kind of flap on the sides. So the physics mean that the table is just resting on the kid's lap. There's an adjustable strap that goes around the carseat rear to hold the table in place. This keeps it RELATIVELY upright, But the way that my daughter's carseat is made, it doesn't really sit on the arm rests. So it tilts down a bit.Overall, the table does what it claims. However, I would have assumed for the money that it was something a bit more sturdy and perhaps that could sit level with the child's seat. (Considering that their safety is of optimal concern, it might turn out that this works better as it's not a hard material to potentially impact them. But I do wish something was engineered that is both safe like this and a bit more sturdy.

It’s the worst. It’s flimsy and bends and folds on the kids lap. It doesn’t close up in any way and has no storage for anything a kid uses to color. I’ll have to buy another one now. Such a waste of my time so don’t do what I did. Find one thats hard, zips up and has a strap long enough to actually go around the whole car seat bc it’s not safe this way either. Follow your child seat guidelines jic!! All the way around the seat not your kids body!!

We tried this on a 7 hr car ride with my 5 yr old son. I secured the strap around the car seat before we left. I could easily clip the tray on and off from the front seat while hubby drove. My son loved it. Study enough to play cars, eat snacks and color. Cheetos wiped off easily with out a stain. I wiped up juice spill quickly. The fabric keep the juice from soaking in for the minute I needed. Over all a success. My son loved it. The table sat straight on the car seat arms and did not tilt awkwardly. I used it on a Chicco Nextfit Zip car seat. Worth the $ paid.I used an different tray table for my 2 year. He was able to take the other tray apart 3 times before I threw it away. I am buying a second one of these tray tables for the 2 year old.
