The instructions are not very clear but if you pay attention you can get it done it also recommends that you upgrade the servos to the metal ones if you have the plastic ones so you might as well do that at the same time i did not because it said it in the instructions and we already had it apart but it shifts very very hard in into second with the Corvette servo and this kit barks the tires on my 5500# tahoe

Not for a beginner, read the instructions, shifts awesome.

I use this kit on all of my 4l60e rebuilds. makes the transmission shifts very confident, and solid.

This kit repaired the P1870 code. I removed the valve body while still in my 1999 Chevy Tahoe LT. Followed the instruction and also used my GM service manuals. The shifts are noticeable but smooth. I would recommend this kit.

Parts received a day early, which was great. Installation instructions made the job easy. Problems solved.

Worked great, easy to install. Unfortunately it peeled a scap on another problem the last rebuilder didn't fix. Time for open heart surgery
