Eastern Jungle Gym Jumbo Captain's Ship Wheel Pirate Wheel Deluxe Swing Set Accessory for Wooden Playset

To complete our Pierce County Master Gardner's internship we decided to make a pirate themed children's garden. This wheel was the icing on the cake to finish this project.

Delivery time was as expected. The wheel itself is as expected. I don't believe it came with install directions, but it was really simple. I selected this one after reading other reviews.. I wanted a decent size 'Captains Wheel'. The reviews for this one are right on in terms of size of the wheel. As others stated, it makes a clicking sound as you turn the wheel. My 5 year old loves having this as an addition to his play structure. You also could mount this to a board or studs in a wall.. many options. I would buy this item again.

Just what I was looking for. This is a good size captains wheel with nice handles around the wheel. Perfect for little hands to give it a spin. It’s a nice weight and seems pretty durable. They give you 2 screws to secure it to the post which I feel it should be 4. Easy fix to add those 2 more screws. Very pleased!

This ship's wheel is made of very durable plastic material and seems like it will withstand the test of time. It's a bright yellow color that matches our slides. It didn't come with directions, but wasn't hard to figure out at all. My 2 yr old son seems to like it, but it only keeps his attention for a few seconds. It clicks when turned. My only complaint is the middle screw was too long and slightly sticks out the back of the board we attached it too. We're just going to get a shorter screw if we can find one the right length.

My kids and their friends love this pirate steering wheel. They sail from island to island for treasure. Bright color and perfect size for our playset.

This was a great addition to my grandsons swing set. They love to pretend they are sailing the high sea's and keeping a lookout for pirates (of course one always shows up!) With three boys it had better be able to handle the roughness that they can give it. And this does just that!

Very big ship's wheel. Perfect for our grandchildren's playground. Our granddaughter loves it! We did need to go to HD and purchase some bolts, nuts, and more washers. There are no instructions, but it is incredibly simple to see how it fits together. It has fins inside the housing so that it will make clacking noises as it turns. We bolted the housing onto a 2x4 and then bolted the housing to the wheel, simple. Now the granddaughter calls the playground, "Bucky", the ship from Neverland pirates.

We built a treehouse last year and it needed something to go with it. When looking for a DIY swing set kit, we found this ships wheel. Our children now have something else to play with to use their imagination in the treehouse. Sturdy and easy to install.
