BareTraps Women's Lara Snow Boot

For the last 6 years, I've had BearTraps boots (another style - a little shorter, but same materials inside and out, except no laces). I LOVED those boots, and was very sad when I realized that they'd gotten ripped and water was seeping in. Then I looked at the sole and the treads were worn down to nothing, so even though I super-glued the rip, it was still time to get new boots. Over the years, they have kept my feet cozy and warm, and it's pretty much all I wear during snowy months (~Nov.-Mar., then off and on through early May). So I knew I wanted essentially the same thing, yet a little taller. My old, a-few-inch-shorter boots always felt just slightly too short when I went walking into new snow, in the mountains, or went sledding.So I looked around and found these Lara boots. I am wary of buying shoes sight-unseen via the internet, unable to try them on. When they arrived and I put them on, they were pretty tight, and I was worried. I played around with the laces, but they were still tight in the width of the foot (not the length, so I knew I'd gotten the right size). I wore them around our house for a few hours, a few days in a row, and they completely stretched to the perfect fit. They are so comfortable, soft inside and fit just right. I am even now tightening the laces more. (I do hope this isn't a sign of them continuing to stretch. But I am glad there are laces, so if I were wearing them somewhere for hours but not needing to keep snow out, I'd loosen the laces, then tighten again before going into snow.) So far, so good. I've had these for a few weeks, and we just had the first big snow storm since I've been wearing them. I'll update if anything changes, but I am very pleased with my purchase.

These boots were so cute, and I had been looking for a pair of cute, warm winter boots that didn't break my budget. I had tried on some other Bare Traps in a shoe store, and found size 10 fit really well, (I normally wear a size 9) so I ordered these in a 10. Unfortunately, the boots were too narrow for me, and when I walked, the boots would slide off of my heel because the length was too long. I returned the boots and am still searching for a new pair.

I love these boots. I have Primary Raynaud's Disease, which means my toes get very cold due to poor circulation. These boots are fuzzy on the insides and keep them warm, even trudging through snow from one side of my university's campus to the other. I've had them for a few months now and they're still in great shape, even though I wear them most days. They're cute, too!

Bought a 9.5 and they are a bit snug. I have a narrow foot with a high arch so I think wide feet people would definitely want something wider. Hopefully won't need to wear thick socks. The boots look and feel great. The soles are so thick! I can't wait for it to snow so I can see how they hold up. *Updated: After wearing them quite a few times they fit perfect!! I absolutely love them. I've hiked in cold weather, and worn them in snow. They've held up great. Nice and warm.

I love these boots. They are so comfortable and my feet never get tired in them. Many times I have worn them all day even though I am home. I highly recommend them for comfort, walking in the snow, and on cold days outside to keep your feet warm. Because of the zipper on the side, these are easy to get on and off.

I love this brand, but this particular style didn't work for my hard-to-fit feet. Too narrow for my wide toe box, yet too wide for my narrow heel. Also they felt stiff to walk in.

These are perfect! They keep my feet warm and are even subtle enough to wear at work! Love them so much!
