I recently purchased a Nectar split king which I love BTW! Anyway, the remotes kept getting lost between the mattresses and then we couldn’t tell whose remote we had. Nothing worse than being woken up in the middle of the night when your partner thinks he has his remote, but nope! The cat was also getting on the bed, sitting on the remote, moving the bed completely up, and then doing what cats do…knocking the remote off! We’d come in to go to bed and couldn’t find the remote. I could not tell you the hours I’ve spent tearing the bed and room apart looking for the stinking remote!These things are great! You can adjust the recoil length. I have them affixed to their respective side’s nightstand. They are very strong too! I won’t say the adhesive will never fail, but you would have to yank on them really hard, multiple times before that would think of happening.I liked them so much that I just re-ordered a 5-pack. I plan to affix the tv remotes and ceiling fan remote to the center of the headboard where it will be hidden beneath the pillows. EVERYTHING comes with a remote these days so this is a great option! Highly recommended!

My mom likes to hold on to her remote and doses off. I’m always looking for remote or the batteries that might pop out or looking for battery cover. I decided to look for some type of retractable line that connects to the marble table top (slippery) and the back of the remote. I decided to try this product. The product could be made better. The adhesive slightly oozed out of the edges of the paper that covers the tape. It was sticking to my hands and the paper was slightly too small/ making it very hard to peel. I almost destroyed the tape when I tried to pull off the paper backing. The adhesive is very strong. Make sure you know exactly where you want the base unit before you tape it to the surface. If this was a laminate table top it might have pulled off the superficial layer of the table when I had to peel it off to reposition. The cable is slightly stiff - making it hard for arthritic elderly to pull out. She can barely manage using it. So far it’s only attached for 2 nights and I didn’t have to look for a remote. It does serve its purpose

I like the unit although I haven't used it for any length of time yet. This is the most common problem everyone giving one of these reviews has. You get a "how do you like it" email only days after you've received the product. You barely can know that it works at all at this point in time.But the part I don't like is having to buy the product without knowing several important things about it, such as the pull force and the wire diameter.

I love this thing. My husband would leave the aquarium light remote all around the house. Now it's in it place, pulls out long enough to point at the end which is required for the light bar. Then it zips right back to where it should be.

I ordered these because my toddler keeps stealing and hiding my remotes. He actually threw one in the trash so in order to stop it, I attached my remotes to my table with these. Definitely works. He can't even peel the adhesive off the remotes now. If you have a baby who likes to hide your remote, Definitely get these.

If you are like me, and tend to leave your remote lying around the house, you need to have this in your life. The adhesive is strong and it fits well on the back of my remote. I've been joking for years about getting something like this and I'm glad I chose this item to help with my forgetfulness.

I have looked for solutions for years to keep from losing this small remote several times in a week somewhere in my damned couch. It's not even the first remote I had. I have bought 3 or 4 since others are mysteriously lost in the dark regions of my stupid sofa. I tried several products and this seems to be the best by far.

I liked that they retracted, but I would have preferred a coil chord instead of a wire chord
