Amazon's Mechanical Turk for Academics Paperback – January 1, 2016

My PhD students can read this to learn how to set up an AMT-based survey. We use Qualtrics as our platform and use Turkers as our subjects in some cases. This book is a great guide. We do behavioral research into cybersecurity and privacy behaviors, given the online threats to information security and privacy, and surveys are one of our major tools for investigation (along with lab experiments, field experiments, and neuro-physiological data collection). If you do it right, Turkers can make a good (valid) source of data for surveys and field experiments, and this book (plus several excellent websites) really help.
