I was surprised how good this bag was. Lovely leather and finally one deep enough to put up with all the junk I seem to carry around. For the price it is exceptional.

Leather: as described, it’s split leather which, after some Googling, apparently means it’s normally the lower, underneath layer of leather that’s then treated and polished to look more like the top layer. This is really well done on this bag I think; it’s glossy and maybe a little stiff when you first get it but I’m sure it will soften up with use. Some reviews said they thought it was fake leather but I don’t think so, it’s just that the coating is quite thick (but that should make scratches and scuffs less noticeable imo.) Weight: it is a little on the heavier side but that’s really to be expected when you’re buying a good quality leather bag like this. In a way it’s good because if it’s too heavy for your shoulder with the straps then you’ve probably overfilled it. Size: very classy size and shape, I think it’s quite roomy which is really nice. Although I can only fit my laptop in its (thick) case and a single thick notebook before getting worried that I’ll stretch or deform it. Any more would be too heavy anyway. Smell: it does have a slight smell when you first open it because of the top polish they’ve used and the kind of lining on the inside, but I’m quite certain it will go away after some time. It’s a very minor smell and I’ve bought bags that have been much much worse than this one for smell. Value for money: I am very satisfied with this purchase! I think this is a fantastic, professional-looking, and thoughtfully designed bag for a very reasonable price! All the little details like the interior zip and the clasps that attach the crossbody strap have a kind of solid metal, scratch-resistant feel to them. Also the little buttons at the bottom that make space between the bag and the surface are textured for extra grip or something which I think is another amazing little detail! Colour: I got it in “coffee” which is a lovely, classic dark brown colour and a really trendy colour right now. It looks absolutely gorgeous and I love how it also matches the interior lining! Comments & potential improvements: Okay so I have 2 minor problems with this bag (it is otherwise perfect!). The first is that the straps are flat and just attached to the body directly. There’s a rivet that keeps it in place so I don’t think they’ll break (as long as it’s not overfilled!) but it’s a slight pain when you want to carry it with the crossbody strap; however, if you just fold the straps *over* the main body, and over each other, they will lay reasonably flat against the body and this isn’t too much of a problem. This could be fixed by redesigning the attachment to the bag to use a kind of metal hinge or something, but to be honest, it works just fine as-is. The second one is that the laptop compartment is great quality and the padding is really thick and clearly good, but if you want to put your laptop in there with a thicker case on it can be a bit of an issue. That is mentioned in the product photos though but yeah, I have a tomtoc case for my 14” MacBook Pro which means it’s quite thick and so it does fit in the compartment, but it’s hard to get in and out, and it pulls the lining up with it before sliding out lol. Will see if I can stretch it out slightly over time, but it’s really just a minor issue regardless. Could have maybe been prevented by making the side panels of the compartment out of something that’s elastic rather than the same shiny, stiff material the lining is made of? All in all a wonderful bag despite my little nitpicks, and I’ll be using it on lighter days for university! ☺️ It makes me feel like I’m straight out of a novel or a film or something. The immediate confidence boost outweighs the minor inconveniences above. I will try to remember to come back in a couple months’ time when I’ve used it more and update this review with my thoughts!

In terms of value for money this is a definite win. It is leather and looks very smart and classy in the cream and tan colour. Great for interviews and everyday smart use. It stands upright as I stash this under my desk at work. Capacity is good , holds large laptop and has plenty of room for headphones, notebook, compact umbrella, lunch, snack, drink, a few toiletries, phone, battery pack, purse, keys. Inside there is padded section for top, a zipped pocket and two drop in pouches which keeps everything organised. The main compartment zips closed. The slim outside the pocket has magnetic closure, not sure what’s I’ll be using that for atm, it could hold a slim purse or phone but not secure enough for me as pickpockets could easily slip anything out, tissues maybe? The straps could be wider for comfort considering the capacity, but I like them because they are long enough to put over your shoulder without the need for the much longer clip on strap. The strap edges are sealed which makes it look good but a bit worried they might come off like they did in another bag I used to have. Would love to know if there’s a way to repair or replace this edging as I think this could be the weak point, hopefully I won’t need to worry about that for a long time. I’d be tempted to look at their other products if I needed another bag as this is value for money and suits my needs.

I have had this bag for over a year and half. Still perfect and new. Great value for money. Definitely worth it.

I was delighted with the bag when it first arrived as it's lovely and feels like very good quality. However, I've gone off it after using it properly for a while now. The bag itself is quite heavy, so it feels like it weighs a ton once you put your laptop, charger and a few other bits and pieces in. That might be ok if the straps were better, but they're too thin and made of very hard leather so they cut into your shoulder quite badly. It's just not a comfortable bag to use. :-(
