Works great and fits perfectly on my push mower! So reasonably priced!

Easy to install, looks and feels very well made. Was impressed at how well it cut the grass. I typically use a reel mower for the growing season and a rotary at the beginning and end of the season and was pleasantly surprised to see how well this blade cut the grass without scalping it.

Some reviews are warning about it being unbalanced and dull upon arrival. Mine was balanced and very sharp so apparently not all are a problem. OEM code number matched in the Amazon description. It ran well with no unusual vibration in my somewhat ancient Briggs & Stratton. I understand the issues with many products sold by Amazon. However, this product is the same as found in hardware stores like Home Depot and Lowes, where I have purchased it in the past. It appears sturdy, is a MTD made in the U.S., and no reason to suspect it is not genuine. It was ordered via Amazon because walk-in stores did not have it in stock and it takes a while to arrive if ordered. Also, the price is reasonable. Durability, which implies long term dependability, could not be reported. Ease to install was not rated because if you never did this before you may have difficulties. Those of you who have done this before know how easy it is and do not need to be told. You should do it yourself, just check online instruction videos, make sure you disconnect the spark plug, and use a breaker bar if necessary. It likely is a 5/8 bolt. Do not over tighten when installing. I use a wooden block to secure the blade when removing and reinstalling.

This blade works amazing. It is a mulching blade and chops. The grass up so fine. It does not get all over your feet. My kids even get out of the pool and walk around in the grass, and the grass is so small. They have to dunk their feet before they get back in the pool, went to one of them big tool stores can't say no names and they wanted almost 2 and a 1/2 times the price. And don't even make the blades for a Craftsman mower anymore. Had to take pictures of the blade at the store. Found it on here could have bought almost three blades for the same price !

exact same blade that came with my mower, fitting perfectly. blade was sharp, but i took it to a higher level with a whet stone. blade is nice and thick, and should be as durable as the 11 year old original one it’s replacing.

The blade appears to have been well made. Time will tell but I expect it will have a long life. It was easy to install on my Troy Built TB100. I cranked the mower and gave it a test run. It almost feels like it cuts better than the original blade. I recommend definitely considering this product.

Noticed several reviews saying their blade was dull or not balanced . Since this is a factory bade decided to take the chance and ordered it anyway. Mine did have a thick coat of paint across the edge but that quickly wore away and the metal underneath was sharp enough to do clean cuts of the glass blades. Felt no vibration at all. I had checked it using a static balancer before mounting it and it was fine. The bade was easy to mount .

I have a 21” Toro mower, I use my bag attachment for parts of the lawn near the gardens so grass clippings don’t get blown into the plant beds and this blade works great with the bag. Does a good job on the rest of the lawn. The blade is inexpensive enough that I simply replace it every year rather than sharpening it. I’m sure it could be easily sharpened, I’m just not set-up to sharpen a blade properly.

Blade will work for my mower, however it was somewhat dull to start out.
