Q: Do these fit the Ameda bottles?

They do fit but, they are not vented like all other brand nipples. So it would only work with dr brown system or rings. With my Ameda bottles and nfant rings, Dr brown nipples collapse because of no-ventilation problem.

Q: can the level 3 nipple fit the level 1 colic bottles? Or do I need to purchase level 3 bottles to be compatible with the level 3 nipple?

All the Dr. Brown's narrow nipple flows are compatible with the Dr. Brown's 4 oz. and 8 oz. narrow bottles including the level 3 shown in this post.

Q: Do these nipples work in phlips avant anti colic bottles

I’m not sure . We got these for the dr Browns bottles but if they are the same size I don’t see why not .

Q: Are the preemie nipples shorter than the regular nipples?

The lengths are the same. The preemie just has a smaller hole and thus a slower flow. My kiddos were born at 28 weeks and once they graduated to bottles they took the preemie nipples just fine.
