Nor do I know if it's mined by slaves as Google tells me much Himalayan salt is. All because I can't find a reputable independent review of the product. What I can say is that it tastes wonderful, works very well in my Oxo Salt Grinders, and the price is definitely right. My previous purchase of this salt was for me a little over 2 years ago. 2 Bags, 2 lbs. each. I use it in my home and in my office where I share it with my boss--and I still have a little over 1/4 of each bag left. I purchased two more bags today just to make sure I don't run out--for another 2 years or so.
